The MOD Science Center Helmet Drop Test

The greatest minds of our generation (about half a dozen employees at a motorcycle shop) put together a rigorous scientific test to find out once and for all which helmet is definitively the best!
Our testing process involves buying a handful of personal watermelons at Walmart, jamming them into used and damaged helmets, and then throwing said helmets off of our loading dock.
We were surprised to see that our results actually did align with the common sentiment that you should replace a helmet after ONE major drop or accident! Several of the helmets, even a very old one, survived one fall just fine - but no helmet managed to survive two falls!
For those who care enough to read the description, know nothing of great value was destroyed here. All of these helmets were aged out, crashed in, or otherwise worn to the point of being unpleasant to wear. And the melons we used for this test have an astounding 1,100 one-star reviews on Walmart's website, with an average of 1.7 stars out of 5. Now THAT'S remarkable!
