- Hey y'all. You can complete this look with both kanekalon and Marley hair. The only difference is that you do not have to burn the ends with the Marley hair because of the thick texture of the hair.
I am not a hairstylist at all, just self-taught.
I hope you enjoy this video :) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COMMENT! I want to get to know you all. Please also like and subscribe! THANKS FOR WATCHING

Thank you!! This was the easiest tutorial... no extra fluff and random talking, just straight to the point! Thank you sooooo much!! I’m going to try it tonight but with Marley hair
thanks!! let me know how it goes :)
This is one of the best instructional videos I’ve seen. I spent 3 days trying to find a good how-to video. I wish I would have seen yours when I was learning. People don’t show what they’re doing with the left hand before the 1st cross-over.
I'm glad it helped!
Yes i couldnt figure the twist part.. To the left to the left is all i gotta remember
This the best one that really breaks down and shows slowly what direction they are twisting as they overlap.
I was having difficultly following other videos!!
Wow that looks so good. You did a great job. I'm trying to learn how to do it myself so I can stop paying other ppl 200$ to do something I can do myself
Thank you! Yeah, thats the best way to go. Just keep practicing on yourself and you'll get better every time
Jordan A. I have been going on you tube and doing my own hair. Now I am trying the ywistie.
Great tutorial. The key part that i noticed a lot of other videos didn’t mention was that the twist need to be twisted to the same side. Thank you
No problem! & Thank you!
🙌🏽 Definitely one of thee Best tuts on how to install Senegalese twist!👍🏽Tfs! ❤
Thanks for watching!
Exceptional instructions!!
Wow ! Itis the clearest video about this I've seen ! Very clear + easily explained ! Thank you ! ❤❤❤❤ Much love !
Thank you! I hope it helped :)
I'm so happy to see someone else doing it the way I would do it. I don't like the other way. Thank you for showing it and making it work ❤
I’m going to try this way too cuz for whatever I can’t see to do it on the right
I searched the entire CZcams to find someone who twists by twist the hair to the left. Feel like I just hit the jackpot!!!
Yay! im glad it helped!
I love how straight and to the point this video is! I have a couple questions as a beginner… What is the state of the natural hair? Is it blown dry? Damp? Wet? Also what products do you use on the natural hair before this process?
Thanks again!
Thanks! It’s blown dry. Definitely use a good conditioner before you blowdry because you’ll them in the protective style for a while. I like Pattern intensive coil tighter texture conditioner.
Amazing.. girl u just gave an THE MOST amazing braiding tip EVER .... this is game hanging so natural😲🥺🤗😍❤️
Thank you!
Already bought some hair, trying this next week with my daughter!🙌
Thank you so much for the tutorial, very detailed!
This was simple enough. I'm going to try it on my own head next week.

This is the best instructional video out of many that I've seen, great job and thank you!! Hair came out beautifully!!✔
Thank you! and thanks for watching
Your tutorial was one of the best! The lighting and the position of the camera provided a good view for braid beginners like me! 🙌
Glad it was helpful!

Great job explaining the process!
I wish I would saw this hours ago 😩. My daughter hair would came out bomb. Practice make perfect
yes! I didnt know what I was doing at first
...good instructional video, you talked a lot BUT what you talked about was very important. Thank you.
How many packs do I need to do my own hair . Love this it's clear where I can do it myself.
I believe I used 7-8 packs here for this length and size. It really depends on what size you want.
Desne On Ice
On one show she said use XBijoux because it has more hair in the pack and you will need just 1 or 2 packs
Yes. It's possible that brand has more hair in the pack but it may costs more. The regular packs of marley and kanekalon hair (which I used for this video) are around $5.
The Beyonce pic 🤣🤣🤣🧡🧡🧡🧡
Thanks for posting...
Awesome video thanks!
they look really nice 👍
I wouldn't burn the ends of this hair, because it can hold pretty good without the burn ,but great jobs thank you.
What's an easy way to part the hair if you're doing it by yourself? I worry the back of my head won't look as good because it's my blind spot, even with two mirrors, I struggle. Worry they may be super loose or unravel in seconds.
vm.tiktok.com/ZM85RmM8R/ try this!
Very informative😍
Aniyah
Bless you because my braider is up charging me up to 240 dollars to do my hair 😑
Oh no! We don't have time for that.
Baby, when I tell you I am so thankful to come across your video!!! I am trying this style this weekend. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! One question... did you put oil on the client's hair? Her hair looked shiny.
I'm glad it helped! Her hair is just naturally shiny and silky. But I did use the "lets jam" on her roots before I started to twist.
@@me17605 Great!!! I am going to attempt to do my hair. Let's see how it turns out.
@@wendyreaves5347 let me know how it goes! & don't forget to subscribe :)
No thank you for the new method ima do this on my hair tomorrow.
Does it really matter on what hair you use because I saw some ppl use straight hair but that is if they straighten their natural hair?
It depends on the look you want. If you want it to look more coarse and natural, you should use Marley hair and if you're looking for a shinier and straight look then you should use kanekalon hair. If you straighten your hair and it's short, the fake hair might have a bigger chance of slipping out, so I wouldn't.
Does that help?
Desne On Ice yes ma'am thanks
Can you travel to St. Louis ? Lol I would really love these and you do them perfectly
Aww I wish sis, thank you for watching!
I really want to learn this but it seem soooo hard 😭
You got it!! It took me a while to get it but as the video says, once you find out that you have to start the twists in the same direction, it’s pretty straight forward. Lmk how it goes!
What other product would you recommend other than the jam?
You can use any gel that doesn't make your hair curl up or you could use conditioner. I just used jam so it could look sleek for her.
What type of hair did you use
How many packs did you use?
Should i blowout my natural hair or will that cause it to slip out
You could depending on your hair texture. I it is really silky I wouldn't but if its more kinky then yes you could but not bone straight.
About how many braids was that?
why did you show that you have to burn it and then you said dip it and trimand then showed it at the end where you were half finished you should have showed a close up or it trimmed and finished i was looking for it..... how it looked finished?
The final result is at the beginning of the video.
how much hair do you need for the whole head
I usually use about 7-8 packs
How many packs of hair did you use??
I really don't remember for this particular appt. because it was almost 2 yrs ago lol but I usually use 7-9 packs
Can I use not water to deal it up instead?
Hey! Can you type the question again? I don't think I understand what you're asking.
@@me17605 sorry my phone auto corrects. I wanted 2 know If hot water could be used instead 2 seal it up or could I just leave as it is?
@@Serenityblu23 yep dip the ends in hot water
@@me17605 I brought Cuban marley hair. Thank you for making this video. Do you have other hair videos as well? I need to learn how to braid. I always pay some else 2 it for me but after wAtching your video I feel more confident about trying it on my own
You dip the hair in what?
boiling hot water... so the ends become straight
How long did it take you
It took about 5 hrs in total but this is my friend so we were taking breaks and talking lol
How come you used that hair and not Marley hair?
that was just the client's request.
THANK BITCH I just said how can I do that and then u came up PS are u a teacher in real life lol I learned by just watching it once
Lol my family is full of teachers. I think that’s why
Its pronounced ka•nak•el•lon not kankalon
Lmao Beyoncé
Lol. It’s “Kan-e- kalon” hair, girl. Not kank-alon 😂
thats how we say in DC sis lol
Sorry but jam, etc. is not good for braids.
