I Entered 100 TOTALLY FREE Online Competitions, Here's What I Won!

- Now Lockdown is upon us once again I decided I need a new hobby.... and subsequently came across various online competitions all boasting big prizes!
Martin Lewis (Founder of Money Saving Expert) has appeared on TV screens on an almost daily basis in the UK throughout the course of the pandemic, advising the public on how best to use there money in these difficult times. Doing some research into Martin & his schemes I came across The Art Of Comping..... or trying to win prizes as a hobby or full time job, looking at some of the success stories I thought it was worth a try..... watch until the end to see what I won!

This has been around for a looooong time. It's a massive hobby for thousands and thousands of people in the UK. I've been comping for over 7years. But not everyone has the motivation, time, effort or creativity to do it unfortunately. Its not an easy thing to win competitions, you really need to put in the graft, and it's of course never a guarantee you will win competitions. It's a bit of luck aswell as know-how and time to put into it. There's more and more people doing comping so it is becoming particularly hard to win anything at the moment. I'm even struggling and I have a lot of knowledge in this hobby. But I have over the years won some good prizes, anything from an ipad, mobile phones, hampers, giftcards, weekend breaks away, meals out, cinema tickets, PS4, guitar, etc. But over the last year barely anything due to how many people are doing comping now, it's much much harder to win. 😑
Maybe my luck will change in the future!

stacey123 is there an easy way to do it? like a website that gives links then you just need to enter email and name etc? im disabled and stuck housebound but cant sit at the pc long as it hurts my spine. i enter the bob and brad giveaway there on yt physiotherpaists. a very easy competion to enter and can enter muitple times by doing simple tasks.
I was wondering why it's so hard to win compared to three or more years ago. People enter 1,000 a month and are lucky to get one or two items.
omg I found this. When I started in 2019 I swear I used to win more, and then lockdown I had more time too. In the last 2 years I haven't nearly entered as many as I used to (but still a few thousand in that year) but also I rarely win now
As a comper myself…100 is a drop in the ocean. Compers can probably do that in a day. Interesting video 👍🏻

This was great! The quality of your videos is sooo good. Sad for you about the disappointing result...I had a similar experience when I tried comping, and it didn't turn into a lasting side hustle for me 😂

You have to do more than 100 same as when people did snail 🐌 mail contests. You have to put in thousands until it starts paying off. This is kinda a hobby. You've got to keep going, not stop after 100 .
Use an automatic information filling web tool, and for captchas, always do the audio captcha, it's way easier it says a word and you type it and it's never ambiguous unless you're deaf. That or you can answer easy riddle type questions, if you don't understand just regenerate. Both take less time than having to click the images

Long ago (long before home computers and the Internet) I entered a contest 50 times -- by mail. Right; 50 separate envelopes; stamps; whatever I had to write for the inserts.
I won a key chain.
Unfortunately was totally empty handed !

In the same way I fell for the elision that watching this video was free… those 100 comp companies bought your data for free. Your personal worth hourly rate value is what you paid (lost). When you could have been getting paid doing something different. At least you are getting paid for those video views/likes/ads from youtube .
