Vr wont fail, to whoever’s tried it we know it’s groundbreaking tech, it has an insane potential, especially affordable headsets like the quest. Even with the current technology we could do so much more, we just need more dev teams to invest on it. But without a single doubt sooner or later the rest will catch up, both devs and consumers.
I think we use the term affordable a lot to justify price points affecting demand. But in reality, a lot of people can afford it, it’s really a matter of how much you want it. The key is to increase demand by providing features and quality, not trying to make something good enough and expecting lower pricing to increase demand.

The AVP is incredibly good and far superior in multiple ways, to the Quest interface. Pricing is a different although valid consideration. What I’ve seen and heard about Quest models makes me uninterested unfortunately - especially since I am not a Mac guy. So, I’d like to have my of experience in the VR space. AVP apps facilitate this but it seems to have room for improvement.

Seems like something you’d get bored of after a week. Apparently it’s heavy and it’s strapped to your head. I can’t see that being comfortable for hours and weeks and months and years on end
