Happy November! Celebrating my birthday this month and researching Thanksgiving sides recipes as I will be the "chef" on Thanksgiving Day while my wife works the holiday. Hope you're not being adversely affected by the wave on cancellations at your airline; I know that could potentially create interesting content for your vlog but I'd rather you not be hassled by it!

Always happy to see a Monday vlog from you! I took a physical/mental health day after a poor night sleep and long-lasting migraine. I completely agree about meal prepping! I work from home but still try to cut up lettuce and cucumber for my salads two days in advance, if I can. Also love my overnight oats in the morning. ☺️ Eating out can be so expensive so we only try to eat out once a week (usually Saturday dinners).
The time off in PA had a remarkable effect on you. From the beginning of the video, you really seemed energized and rested. I'm happy for that.

We flew into Norfolk a few weeks ago. We flew into that airport and drove down to the Outer Banks. If you’ve never been, put it on your bucket list!! I love love love the OBX.

Ha, ha, I know exactly what you mean about Luna and personal clothing items lol! My dog Teddy likes pulling those same items out of the dirty laundry basket and then hides them throughout the house. Whenever I try to give him clean ones, he’ll have nothing to do with it! I’m always embarrassed our dog walker will find something hidden under a pillow lol!
In a dog's opinion, the smellier the better. The clean socks and clean clothes have so few odors that it is totally boring to a dog's nose.
When you start to look all the meals you buy out and wonder whether or not you can make them at home, that's a sign that you're a real home cook ! I get a lot of inspiration from the food at restaurants and it brings some variety into my everyday cooking. Also, the new iPad is looking good, especially with that case

Welcome to Norfolk. I hope you enjoyed the sights. When I was still flying I commuted from ORF to IAD where I most of my trips were out of. I was technically based out of DCA, but we covered DCA, IAD and BWI. as far as plans, I'm still recovering from a severe bought of Covid so Nov. is "Continue recovery month" with some turkey thrown in. Anyway, I enjoy the vlog and it reminds me of when I flew. Stay safe and happy Nov. to you, Eric and Luna.

I was working graveyard and there was a flight attendant very fatigued who was having trouble lifting her bags onto the tram. She thanked me for helping and explained her trip commuting, and a series of short flights. I asked you have seniority how did you get stuck with that. "It was the only trip I could bid where I work 2 days a week." Luckily she did not get off at the hanger stop.

Very interesting posts! A few questions about the job: Is there an aircraft type you prefer. Are there any differences between the aircraft types (in terms of space, infrastructure, noise, light etc.) and do FA also have a type rating? Also, do you have a personal view on environmental aspects of flying? Do crews spend time together as a team when you have some free time at a destination? How is the cooperation between cabin crew and FA‘s? Have you ever had incidents with unruly pax? How has the pandemic changed the job? Do you have a vaccination mandate for staff like some other airlines do or is it left to the employees to decide? How would you encourage passengers who are afraid of flying? Have you ever had flights that were absolutely terrible, are there any airports or destinations that are a nightmare to goto? Is FA a job of your dreams? I would like to get some more background information. Some aspects unknown to people who don’t fly every day. Many thanks from Europe
Some of your questions are answered in her other videos (ie, day trips and meals with other crew members.) With all her activities, including editing the videos, it would take a lot of time to fully and properly reply to what you seek. Some subjects, ie, bad crew members, airports she hates, environmental, she probably would avoid, and then there is company policy to not reflect poorly on the company. I'm against burning the rain forest, but the people who do it toute it's their right and livelyhood and that causes a conflict. So if she doesn't respond, please understand. I'm surprised she's taking so much time reading the stuff from all the people who comment.
Vacination policy is in the news, and doesn't need to be mentioned here. My ideal / dream job was 4 day work week, music, flexible hours, nice people, satisfaction with the end product. She has that, yet the flexible hours are far from 9-5 routines. Still, she's young and copes.
Unruly passengers? The last one is expected to be released next Tuesday. LOL
