This is my first test of this compact camera-gimbal system. It's about the size of my iPhone Mini 13 but fatter. It'll take a bit of using to consign its various bits to muscle memory but this short trial run impressed me. Excited to shoot a whole load more vanlife, Isle of Wight and travel content using this compact system.

Inbuilt microphone seems good
Played thru the tele it is superb so clear and sharp sound is ok as well.
Picture quality and sound improved and bobbing decreased! All good and your iPhone mini blends in with the Osmos quality at the end of the video👏Noticable Quality throughout 👍Ventnor is looking Bright and Colourful!
Good quality, lots for you to learn but you've got CZcams!
Looks good but I have only had a few minutes spare to dip into it. Tip - make your own mind up but the zoom on this camera is just digital zoom, that you could equally do later when editing.
Viewer verdict: great colour, resolution and panning ability - but, to my eyes, it seems much bouncier when walking. I'm actually finding the walking bits a bit dizzy making. I can still enjoy the stiller parts though.
So far this seems a lovely improvement. You still bob a bit, but perhaps you'll sort that.
Very clear image, great colour balance, sound quality excellent, depth of field is brilliant and you don't get that blurry pixellation that you used to get if you panned too quickly. The focussing on the flower head at approximately 11 minutes in was superb and, because it knew that you were doing an extreme close-up, it blurred the background exceptionally well. All in all, a great step forward and the more comfortable you feel with this device, the more ambitious I hope you will become - not sure about the footage of the strange bloke who keeps appearing and seems to have lost his razor, though. As a quick aside, I have heard of an app that allows you to identify bird song/cries - do you know of it and would it help someone like me who can identify blackbirds, magpies, woodpeckers, owls, cuckoos and wood pigeon, but not much else - though I really would like to.
I'll investigate which is the best of the various bird ID apps. A few years ago they were unreliable but so much training has been done now that the algorithms are getting almost fool-proof. Great to get your feedback Mike: I know nothing about video footage shooting but there are a million tutorials on CZcams so over the summer my expertise will certainly develop. The Nimo that accompanies the dji massively increases the versatility of the camera. I have a friend here who works with dji drones and has offered to create some pre-sets for me - those should enhance quality depending on the conditions...
1080p?!?!? You definitely didn't need this camera.
