Thanks to Robert "Pixeldieb" Bogs for the camerawork. robert.bogs?... - Krátké a kreslené filmy
This video is basically telling us not to do anything that youtubers have taught us. And I agree, because with their teachings all I ever got was wobbly footage no matter how much I tried. Then my body naturally adjusted according to it's needs and what I currently have is 90% of what this video teaches. And I get much smoother shots. A Pro in the Industry is a Pro and CZcamsrs don't compare. Learn from the right people. This is an amazing series! Thank you.
Thank you. I appreciate that 😊
100 percent
Schön, dass ein Deutscher in dieser Branche so aktiv ist
Nik Azad.... danke dir
Man this guy is good , he makes it look easy
thanks CB
Lots of these types of glidecam how to videos on CZcams. This is by far the best I've seen! Thanks for providing this free value.
Thomas Roberts thanks... i really appreciate that. Stay tuned, more will come. Cheers
This is easily the best glidecam video I have watched. Not just your technique, but your process of educating is really spot on. Well done!
Jeremy Banchiere thank you very much.
The best DSLR stabilizer training on the internet.. hands down the best one ...
Thank you for making this available to us.
Thanks a lot
Stefan, you are a natural teacher - this is very good. Thank you.
My pleasure
4:05, when you think about it, it's like dancing and the stabilizer is your partner. Fantastic video!
Thank you ;-)
Thanks a lot Stefan! You are the best!! Got the glidecam a while ago & was already frustrated. I abandoned it after hurting my wrist & my back, & still couldn't use it properly. Picked up the glidecam after watching this tutorial & I'm very impressed with my movement & shots :)))))) Thank you so much! Now I don't walk like a duck anymore!!! Learned that from many CZcams videos.
Thank you Sane. I know there are a lot of "oppinions" out there, hahaha. I get some not so nice comments about my "never ever bend your knees", but to get a comment like yours is very welcome.
Cheers
I just picked up the NEEWER stabilizer on Amazon for real estate videos. It was $83 Canadian dollars but I wanted to go cheaper until I made a good amount of money with real estate. Then I will upgrade but these videos are super helpful for my first real estate video. Thx mate 🙏🙏
This is how a tutorial should be.
Every minute details of where mistakes might occur.
Secondly, no waste of time
everything,To the point
Great 👍🏻 thanks 😊
Thanks 😊
You had me at "don't bend your knees." Some advice that I like!
my pleasure
So schnell und einfach die wichtigsten Dinge erklärt! Danke! Sehr hilfreich. :)
gerne 😊
Easily the clearer tutorial I've seen on the subject. Your demonstrations are a good illustration of the right movements and at the same time demonstrate your skill 👍🏼. And you're right, you have to practice and practice again, that's the secret . Merci Stefan !
Thank you
I've been exploring almost all youtube videos about glidecam, and found your series are the best. Including not to bent the knee thing, i agree with you.
Y.P. Putra thank you very much
This guide is like the opposite of everything else I have seen from other advanced users. crazy
What "kind" of advanced users? Stead(y)icam operator or CZcams Influencer?
@@StefanCzech To start someone that has had a glidecam named after him "Devin Graham" Ever heard of him? I mean he has nearly 6 million subs, so I'm guessing he is doing something right?... That being said I respect your tips and you have lots of good information that gives technique to achieve similar results. Just like the old saying goes, "there is more than one way to skin a cat".
I know Devin in person. He is a nice guy but he is CZcamsr and not a Stead(y)icam Operator ;-)
Take the tips you like and find your way...and leve the cats!
Stefan Czech yeah most of them say to bend your knees and “ninja walk”
DX2tI most of them never ever make a slow walk around an object. Most of them are running kids.
I learned something today. Learn from the people that actually made the Glidecam and not youtubers.
Thank you 🙏
The only really useful video I've found yet. There's so many people giving bad advice but this is practical and works. Excited to get out and film now. Thank you Stefan

Víctor Pérez you are welcome
Great tutorial Stefan.
I gotta say when you talked about how to stand and walk with the glidecam you reminded me of my chiropractor ;)
+Pollux Chung hahaha...thanks. Yes its a common mistake of beginner to bend the knees by hoping to get a smooter shot. I will show some exercises in Vol. 2 to walk the right way.
Bending the knees is not stable, not clever and not healthy. I never say, hold your leds stiff!!! Hahaha...
Cheers
Stefan
This is extremely helpful. Thanks

“Walking like a duck just isn’t cool” 😂😂 thanks for this video series, just learning to use one of these things and man what a work out! Heavy Sony a7iv had me load on 4 weights each side and after 30 minutes or so my arms are on fire!
Keep on training. Most of the time, there is no need for very long takes. Keep it short but stable. Best
@@StefanCzech thanks so much for the response! I’ve been practicing your drills and working my way through your video series, you are helping me improve greatly. Thank you.
