I've had mine for about a year now, got them on a warranty claim for a swap since they didn't make the ones I had at the time. They gave me a replacement before these and they constantly gave me headaches after 30 minutes... these, I can wear them for 8+ Hours a day and have no problem, SUPER comfortable! I actually have them on in my profile pic lmao!

Your review on this headset is so accurate. I own a hyperX cloud 2 and wanted to upgrade, this was the best pick. The amount of customization on the sound quality/equalizer, and blue mic customization on Ghub is phenomenal. Definitely the best gaming headset right now price-wise and quality-wise.

Very detailed explanations I like it. I wanted to buy this but read too much bad feedback from one site about the comfort of this headset but now I'll buy it without fear :D
I loved it! the audio quality is way better than i expected. Unfortunately i can't use the software to its full extention because USB audio has a lot of latency when using an audio interface. But it's all good, the sound is great.
Only con i can really think of is that the brushed aluminum finish on the sides gets frustratingly dirty and is hard to clean.
the biggest pro:
It's EXTREMELY robust, and since it doesnt have those little fragile wivels on each cup that breakl easily, means its very durable and will last a long time and its very hard to break since the entire thing is made of thick metal. Thats a pro on my book since im TIRED of headphones breaking easily at the swivel and apparently every brand not selling replacement bits specifically for the swivels.
So you cant customize it with a shure mv7?
Id love a wireless version, love the more subtle aesthetic they're going for with the g pro lineup lately

Wireless sucks imo. I mean, if you’re a gamer that plays around 10 hours a day, the fact that you have to charge your mic after how ever many hours kinda sucks.
I'm not playing 10 hours a day though so i'd like a wireless one down the road.

If there are people still wondering, yes these do work on console. Including the bluevoice tech and all the other features. You just have to use the software trough a laptop or a pc and then connect it to your console and all the settings will carry over to your preferred console. Keep in mind that you have to use the USB dongle if you want to use any of the features.

Wait all things that i change on PC will work on console but only with that USB. So that means i change on PC, plug out of PC, plug in on console and it will work

They really listened and gave people what they want. Theh gave you the option to use them on basically any device(except iPhones🤣), they really did give you alot of options, they even gave cloth attachments in the box. Really all 'round great headset.

It‘s july of 2020 and I am still using the Logitech Pro X and it is absolutely amazing! There are a lot of cheaper options but if u can afford the Pro X then go for it💯
It‘s december of 2020 and I still think it‘s one of the best. Still using it. Still happy. No problems at all.
April 2022 and it’s time for me to say goodbye to my headset🥲 I‘m selling it now cuz I don‘t play games anymore.

Hi Frank! I was recently in the search for a good budget gaming headset and your Kraken X review really helped me make a well informed and worthwhile purchase. So thanks! Also, in your CTU50 videos for May and February, you talked about two earbuds, the Linsoul Tin Audio T2s and Yinyoo KZ ZSNs. They both boast good ratings and a 'dual driver' feature that I'm unfamiliar with. Perhaps you could compare the two earbuds, talk about this dual driver thing and let everyone know your thoughts on the better sounding/better value pair? That would be dope! Thanks!

Yeah, I've always liked hyperx cloud. Great build quality, good quality ear pads and big drivers. Built to last.. I've had the originals for 4 years now. It's great to see other companies doing the same, Corsairs HS line up is also very similar

my razer kraken v2 started muting itself every minute or so after 2 years. Love the quality of bass on this one i hope its built to last.
I have that issue too when adjust mic setting such as mic volume and noise cancellation. The best way to fix is let it be the default mic settings.

It's very nice and comfortable and has great sound, but the best part in my opinion is that it doesn't give me a headache after wearing it. I'm so glad I got it and I'm so happy with it!👍

Finally a headset with a great mic. Logitech made a good investment buying Blue brand. Now we just need a version that has the Blue adjustments on console or maybe built in memory if that's possible like their other peripherals.

Pretty similar. In my opinion the Hyperx is more comfortable, though the mic is louder on the Logitech

I wish this came with more than a 5 band equalizer. I got spoiled with the equalizer APO with its 32 band equalizer. I would like to see a 10 band equalizer with this.
I've bought this and I highly recommend this the mic is just perfect with tuning it in the simple g hub app it's pricy but it's a bundle of a good mic and a good headset surround sound is awesome

If you're asking if you can use the usb on PS4, no it can't, same with Xbox One sadly. You can only use the aux.
@@negatiivity I think hes asking if you can change the settings of the headset and then use the headset with those updated settings on ps4, similar to changing the dpi of a mouse
@@silent3469 Not to be a downer, but the same answer as before applies. With most gaming mice, they have an internal memory in which you can save your settings. On this headset, (or any headset I've ever seen) there isn't an internal memory. So no still :/

yes I still use it and it starts to hurt my ears after long time of use such as long gaming sessions and listening to music.
sound quality wise out of the box is total trash but you can tweak it with Dolby Atmos/Access and change the sample rate to the highest available in control panel to get a clean sound quality and maybe use the Logitech software and use a custom EQ to make it sound even better.
The only issue with Logitech software is that it disables spatial sound so you won't be able to use Dolby Atmos alongside the custom or downloaded EQ and it disable enhancements tab for bass boost and loudness equalization so keep that in mind.

@@AlexFire92 Hey Alex, it is loud and i use both bass boost and loudness equalization at 192000Hz. as for games and hearing footsteps it all depends on the game. in warzone sometimes i can hear the footsteps clearly and sometimes i cant.

@@Tieph I'd say for gaming it's amazing, the directional audio really helped out in immersion and fps games like cod. I can tell where the enemies and gun shots are coming from easily. The mic is decent, no complains. For music it's kinda meh
