You can find that property in 'Sound Control Panel set to 48khz, they will make the sound better for recording. Also, I just got these headphones, they only sound like this in the video because he didnt take it out of Broadcaster presetting when you turn on blue voice, you have to pick another setting that its defaulted on or create your own.
The microphone sounds like the radio message in Call of Duty 😂
Its shit. Just buy coolermaster mh751/752
@@INFERNOdll 😂 exactly
Lmaoo
its sound ike alastor the radio man LOL
Soooo true!
One of the best aspects of the G pro was the mic quality. Without that there is no reason to pick the G Pro Wireless instead of the Hyper X, or the Razer Thresher
Comfort test with VR is a nice touch. May I suggest review the connectivity (distance) in the future too.
Badseed tech did a good review and he changed the blue voice settings and it sounded really good
"But now lets enable Blue Voice so it can sound worse" LOL gotta love that
@ShaneO Burst my bubble? I was quoting what he said in the video, sorry if you weren't listening, also sorry you go to a wireless "gaming headset" for audio quality, get Sennheisers for audio quality, or audio technica
@@NorthernLaw_ which one would you recommend then under 200 dollars thats also wireless i have the g933 audio quality is great but the comfort over long sessions through weight ruins it
@@isea_ Literally ANYTHING is better than the G933 or G935, get rid of those and throw them in the dumpster, they are the worst headset I have ever owned, no benefits, absolute shit. 6 year old apple earbuds are better than G933 or G935, you said under 200 but I'm going to recommend $200, Logitech G Pro X Wireless is really good, Steelseries Arctic wireless I heard was good but I wouldn't get that personally unless it was the pro but even then the HyperX Cloud Orbit is better but like the Arctis Pro, $300+, any wireless HyperX headset is good, Apparently the Logitech G733 is decent but again I wouldn't get that and don't know enough to recommend it. So overall $200 doesn't get you a good pair, but Logitech G Pro X Wireless and any HyperX headset that's wireless is a good pick, a runner up would be a Razer Blackshark V2, not bad either
@@NorthernLaw_ i liked the hyper x but the g pro wins for me bc of g hub and the hyper x has no clamp but ngl the g933 has some good sound quality in terms of bass but other than thag its somewhat trash in every category ima buy the pro tonight
@@isea_ I was thinking about the G Pro X wireless but HyperX Cloud Orbit S is really good, probably going with that
3:56 kudos for taking the time in reviewing a headset for gamers who's using an eyeglasses
yeah i always wear blue light glasses if i'm gaming at night but i can't rn because my giant razer kraken can't even let me wear my glasses
I’ll say this for anyone on the edge about getting either the wired or wireless. I have had the wired version for about 8 months now and in almost every game I play I always get compliments about how amazingly clear and nice my mic sounds. Some people on rust end up thinking I’m a streamer because it’s so clean and because of how I sound. But for audio it’s the same, Very clear, full and great sounds in all games and video.
i just wanna say that i love how you organised this video so clearly, thumbs up
I hope Logitech can make improvements on the mic, since this kind of design & build quality is exactly what so many people are looking for. Also, I'm surprised you didn't include a sample of the Corsair Virtuoso during the mic test/comparison. Considering the price tags, that one would've been a better comparison instead of the HyperX Cloud Flight (imo).
My favorite review channel, thanks a lot for the solid work from germany.
OMFG a vr headset comfort test THANK YOU it's so important to me.
also wish you mentioned music too
A few things to take into account here - people treat their sound settings on their PC as an afterthought, it's in the same remit as people not turning on 144hz on their display adapter, remember to up the bitrate to the right quality.
Secondly, I've seen many reviews and the microphone quality is average/above average with tweaks and this makes it sound like a terrible one, not sure I'm inclined to agree with this section of the review.
Lastly - this is more of an open question - does the Sennheiser headsets still have interference problems with lightspeed? as confirmed by BrianP over at BadSeed.
some people don't turn on 144hz BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A 144HZ MONITOR!!!!!!
all the rest of the people don't do it because windows doesn't need to be run in 144hz. just your games do.
why on earth would you make your gpu work harder all the time for nothing. just to display your background.
Watching this with headphones on while he did the mic test... RIP MY EARS
It hurts even on speakers
Dimitri! you gave me exactly the information i needed. been looking for a good wireless headset for VR sim racing, and i think these just took the top spot.
Keep up the good work thanks for the honest impressions !
i love my g935s by far my fav wireless headsets. im still hoping to see the lineup of these items get improved even more over time but i havnt really seen anything new in terms of needing to upgrade from the g935s. i love my bass and i love their eq system and i normally put my bass eq at 8 cause 12 is to static and it feels like it gonna burst the headphones so keeping it at 8db was good enough for my ears to enjoy for bass. i dont use their crappy surround sound advance stuff so it useless to me to turn on. i do wish the battery life was longer then 14 hours but would love to see a major improvement their. mic is fine no issue their. without said i love these headsets and i just cant find anything that would be a huge upgrade in terms of bass and audio quality andi dont think their any upgrades yet that can beat the g935s version yet.
would you still recommend buying the G935 today or something else? Thank you
@@clwoni1414 it still a great headset in my book. Definitely still worth it
8:29 for the mic test
Just bought the Audio-Technica ATH-G1WL and I'm truly blown away about how good it sounds. Would love to see a review from your perspective! Mic is great and the sound is incredible. Would definitely recommend!
Loved the video, great review. I have to mention, this video is the only one I've found (first one) that compared the mic on the "Pro X" and the "Pro X Wireless" in ONE video. And addition to that, you compared them with the different settings, and gave your personal tip/trick with the "Pro X" Logitech G HUB settings. Thank you so much, I've struggled for hours trying to make the choice to either buy the "Pro X Wireless", or the "Pro X"- because my old "Pro X" broke. I have no problem with the wire, so I will defiantly choose the "Pro X" -the sound quality is what made that clear. Thank you again.
Im waiting for their Logitech Embody Gaming chair review 👀👀👀👀.
Its on herman millers site.
Yeah at that price, I'll just wait for a business near me to close down and sell some used aerons.
@@tarfeef_4268 I wanted to go with an aeron too but size c used are hard to find here in hawaii. A herman miller chair for that matter. Thsres a dealer here for herman miller but shipping is atrocious too Nd the new price tag. Nah, I'll pass, for now.
it’s the same as any other embody mate just a different colour watch any embody review
@@danielshnaydman7710 Yeah it is. The regular embody is also $100 off atm.
I've noticed from watching a few reviews on wireless headsets and then getting one myself : The mic always sounds shit on reviews for some reason but if you watch a review of the headset made a little after release the mic sounds waaaay better
Kinda weird the manufacturer has to release a software update for the mics before release
This should be higher up in the feed fr lol
yeah, mine sounds nothing like this. maybe its something youtube does to the file when compressing and shit
Could be that reviewers get early samples and that via upates its improves much until customers can test it. And youtube as said really compresses even more.
Honestly half the stuff I wont buy but i still watch your videos because your reviews are amazing!
Thanks for the review! Please review the Cooler Master MH670 headset. I moved from the G635 to it and am so glad I made the move. I would like to hear your thoughts and let the world know about this headset. It is excellent value for a wireless headset of such high audio quality!
thanks for the voice test i almost bought them
And what about the Mic on the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless? I thought that Headset had a pretty nice sounding microphone! Isn't the Virtuoso a Keeper?
Had a few wireless headsets now and going to stick to the virtuoso. The mic is just insane for a wireless solution. Altough i had to tune the equalizer quiter hard in terms of bass and deeps.
As someone using my wireless headset a lot for listening to podcasts and youtube talks while doing other stuff around the house, range testing and tests of signal through walls/objects would help me out a lot in the decision. I need a new one soon, my old one is held together with glue and electricians tape. But I need one with good range, and at least mid level sound and an OK mic.
Its Finally Here!!!! Waiting for my Review Pair😖😖😖.....Great Review Brotha!
I just watched some other reviews and there the mic quality wasn’t as close as bad. I suggest other people to do the same.
Please always compare wireless headphones mics with the Virtuoso from now on. It seems to have become the gold standard.
true but the sound isnt great on those
@@skillboosthd1998 He's only talking about the mic
@Vazzone the Virtuoso is 209.99 .. $10 diff much closer then comparing it to the h70
the virtuoso sound quality is trash... it is not a gold standard
Sound is flat and mine stayed connected for 2 hours out of box then cut out every five minutes and I couldn’t find a fix. Firmware was up to date, fresh install iCUE, tried different usb sockets 3.0 and 2.0, tried turning sleep mode off nothing worked so I returned it and ordered a set of these instead.
Love your honesty when it comes to products.
Love it man u inspire me to make tech videos
11:12 besides what you last say in that second, I think the HyperX mic is the most decent one for talking/crude recording. Gain can be adjusted to nice -6db via software, because there's no software that can fix a popping, noisy, loud, clipping, overdrived voice (if we exclude profesional heavy post processing methods)
I also think that hyper X was the best.
@@pedrogalastri610 It definitely was. The cleanest sound.
Just ordered mine. Will be getting here today. Am so excited to finally have a comfortable, great sounding and decent mic quality on a wireless headset.
is it still good?
Good review, but I wish you would have compared the mic to the Corsair Virtuoso (regular)
great review, as always. I'm planning to upgrade from the G PRO wired version to the wireless version for several reasons. As you mentioned the mic to be the weak link, do you think the wired version's microphone will work in the wireless headset?
So is it down to hardware or to signal transmission (i.e. wireless) that the sound of all wireless headsets seems to be quote "sub par"?
thx for advice on that.
I have the Pro X wired with blue voice and i can assure anyone that its not nearly that bad, its actually a great mic. I'd say its a bit better than the blue snowball mic. It has one of the best headset microphones on the market.
😂😂😂 you can’t be serious, I own this headset and the mic is a joke
I actually found cloud flights to sound better than the g pro x, in terms of balanced sound signature and detail. Hopefully this is better.
Using the GSP670 after months of evaluation and really happy with my decision. Sucks to see this wireless pair not being great :/
Thank u for the vr test it is the reason I need a wireless
i think you have a bad mic, i saw another review of the same headset and the mic sounds fine
yeah I just bought these and tested the mic out myself. It doesn't sound bad at all.. Especially with blue enabled.
Yea my G Pro X wireless doesn't sound as bad as his. He didn't do something right.
It's definitely not a headset for the neck, I've tried that yesterday, almost choked myself 😂
At least it can be used as an item for sadomasochists 😂
Excelent, excelent, will buy this, thx for the confirmation
😂😂😂
I just watched your review!
@@Hipsterjes Thanks! 😊
I've been binge watching your headset reviews.
Which is your fave so far??
Wonderful review
Thank you for your honesty 🖤
I bought the Corsair virtuoso because I liked it from your review. I think its microphone sounds better than all these.
Good choice!
How is it? That's what I'm going to go with I think. Best wireless Headset I've seen across many reviews.
Sadly Virtuoso is way too tight for me, the max length feels like length 2/10 on a Void, and causes headaches after 10 mins. Wonder if there's any good wireless headset for big head.
@@HardwareCanucks and for you between the virtuoso and the Gpro X wireless , purely based on the sound performance , witch one would you choose ?
Between this and the Corsair Virtuoso, which do you recommend? Thanks!
@@Viktor-jq2br decided to buy the HS70 pro instead. Very satisfied. It performed better than my Cloud Alpha
I want your review on the Rog Go 2.4 headset :)
You always make videos at the right time
Thanks for the honest review. I’ve been a fan of logitech but feel like this manufacturer is frequently coming out with poorer quality products with tons of features as compensation. I wish logitech would step back and redistribute the money spent into more quality products and less into branding, digital features and packaging. Great video review as always Dimitri!
Ive got the feeling they had die last years complete bullshit-products and (except of this GPXW) they did something good. I love my G915 and G Pro Wireless.
The microphone quality is trash. Had to skip forward, it was that bad.
its a wireless headset, what did you expect
It sounds like a 1$ mic from 2004.
Sticking with the Virtuoso. The only wireless headset I've been able to find that has a mic that isn't hot garbage.
@@snipish the wired version has an awsome mic and their wireless mice usually have really fast and stable connections I thought they could pull this off at least to the level of corsair. Maybe if they included 2 USB transmitters one for the mic and one for the stereo?
My modmic wireless sounds waaaaaaay better and I thought a company as big as Logitech could do something that sounds like the normal Pro X.
Can you give an advice, please?. What is the best headset for video and audio conference?. Thanks, amazing video.
I've been waiting for this too, but my mind just stuck with Cooler Master MH670 wireless.
Can't wait to know what wireless headset recomendation from Dmitry.
Recently got the G Pro X, I thought I was in for some buyer's remorse when I saw the title. Then I heard this mic. I'm fine with wires now.
Uh I hope you realize this headset and that are the SAME in terms of audio quality, buy them as headphones, getting the X wireless is way better, miles ahead, mic means nothing
@@NorthernLaw_ might mean nothing to you. I use it everyday as I'm working from home. A good quality mic is invaluable when speaking to large audiences on conference calls.
@@pieterrossouw8596 Oh then yes absolutely matters, I'm just saying though a lot of people shit on this headset for the mic and that is no reason to, for people like me who would buy it just for the audio quality, I am about to buy this but I'm not sure what to get, headphones are impossible to decide on, I just want good audio quality and that's it, might go with this
@@NorthernLaw_ most likely you'll be happy. I really like the sound of my wired pair, very comfortable too. Bit pricey but I've never regretted a Logitech purchase.
@@pieterrossouw8596 Oh boy I wish man, I got a G933 and a G935, shittiest headsets there is, so many problems, G733 I'm sure is the same way, shittiest headsets to man they are complete and utter garbage I've had nothing but trash experiences with it. Logitechs quality has been declining double click issues and stuff and no really good flagship keyboard that is modern.G502 is good though and G pro headset has different drivers than the g933 so it's actually good, it's either this or real headphones like sennheisers, I still don't know but might just go for these

The Mic? YIKES

Grab the usb cardio mic they did a video on the other day. Then you won’t be tied to your desk.
@@LorandHungary and as a headphone is not good, sadly. There are way cheaper headphones and microphones at a fraction of their price, like Maono/Fifine microphones and Koss headphones and lets not talk about chifi audio.

Excellent review I just may get the full wireless set g 703 g915 and this headset to replace my aging Razer setup. :)
Be careful with the G915, mine with less than 1 month of use started to experience connection loss problems at random.

I’m really liking this headset, good audio, great comfort and a pretty ok mic all things considered. Only problem is price as I don’t think it’s worth 200 granola bars
I love that new unit of value measurement, gonna measure everything in granola bars 🤣🤣🤣
We will be using the Granola Bar measurement going forward.
Hardware Canucks XD
The mic is not acceptable for the price. Cheap bluetooth headphones have better mics!
As a student in Sweden I get a 35% voucher for the Logitech store. Bought the g pro wireless for 90$ at launch. I can get these headphones for 130$ lol. Don't understand what is going threw their head lol.
When are you going to review the hyperx cloud flight S?
After 5 years of super intensive use my Logitech G933 wireless headset finally broke (still works & has audio but one of the ear cups snapped off lol). After seeing this review and the fact that Logitech is still selling the G933 model i'm just going to re order the same one lol. The G933 is expensive but it had good audio quality, nice surround & base, decent battery life with the G lights turned off, mute indicator, surprisingly good range, good mic quality and easy to use LGS software. And this is after a 5 year review I can tell all this :-)
Why cant Logitech just give us a good headphone and Blue mic deal like beyerdynamic TEAM TYGR.
I love Logitech but their app sucks and I refuse to use them for a headset.
@Alina RS They use the Pro 80 as a base design and spec them to what they want to focus on (at least that's Hyperx and Fnatic's approach, which btw Fnatic React has the best imaging AND best mic of any Pro 80 based headset).
Now tbh I have no idea what Logitechs approach is but considering how good Blue stand alone mics sound Logitech must have no clue how to make a decent headset.
I WISH Never buy a headset get a real pair of headphones logitech headsets suck
@Alina RS Never buy a headset get a real pair of headphones logitech headsets suck
I once watched a review by Z review, who is well known for headphone review, said any gaming brand produces gaming headsets also keyboards ending up making bad headsets. Not like beyer, sennheiser, audio techina, etc who only focus only on audio field making great products.
Yeah wireless headsets do have small nit-picky things. But having my Corsair void for 2-3 years. I've really enjoyed it.
Once you get past all the small wierd behavior, it usually forms a pattern. Once a pattern has been established it's no different than any other headphone just a few extra steps, as in turning the headset on and off sometimes because the connectivity is bad and you can't connect, and or getting used to adjusting the volume which u eventually can do just fine without having to look at a volume bar.. personally I found it kinda ridiculous that he's having trouble with that aspect as a person used to the headset probably wouldn't think twice about it.
Anyhow thought I'd just mention that real quick since I like what Logitech is doing. Actual progress in the wireless world which sooner or later will become cheap technology for us to buy. Just be patient!
Great review! Very well done.
I jumped from the Sennheiser Game One which I had for about a decade to this one because I was interested in how far the wireless headphones have gotten. It was not really excited with them though the longer I use them the more it seems like it's just down to the fact that the Sennheisers used to have an above average soundstage while these sound like the soundstage is as big as an oil barrel. Already got a standing mic so the mic can't really hold up to that one either. If you love playing shooters and need to spot people these will do the opposite of good surround sound. They are more confusing than actually helpful sadly. Though not sure if I am just too used to the sound of the Headphones I have used for a decade given they are open back vs closed aswell so might just be the big shift for me.
now we need a wireless mechanical keyboard g pro and then we can have a tri-g pro setup
The stuttering in the mic makes me think their is something else going on, other reviewers have much better mic quality? I'm confused.
100%, something is really off here, not sure what.
I was thinking the same, in other reviews it was way better I think. It wasn't perfect, but acceptable. If I would have only seen this review, I wouldn't buy it.
This, he may have a defect headset.
100000000% something else is going on. I have both wired and wireless sounds soooo clean and so much better than this lol I've even had friends ask if I got a stand alone mine because the quality is so good lol
I have the G pro X, i turned on Blue Voice and downloaded the most upvoted/downloaded preset on the G Hub Browser, i just tweeked a little bit the volume( too loud). It sounds absolutely fantastic. I dont know what the heck the guy on the video did to sound so bad or what the other users are saying...
Can you please do a review of the HyperX Cloud Flight S? It's really a completely different model than the original HyperX Cloud Flight and it's really good.
Listening on my G X Pro Wireless. So nice!
Bought this headset expecting terrible mic quality after watching this after I purchased, got it 2-3 days ago and it sound perfectly fine... not sure what you did to make yours sound so bad.
Attention. Nobody talks about much about someone who says it's great, because many do. But you gain the most attention when you talk really BAD about a product that is very popular. What you hear in this video is not the reality, I'm using the headset and the sound quality of the mic is absolutely amazing.
@@jeremyjohnson7676 it says something like "Blue Audio Mixing" or something like that, so do you know if it relates to something like a Blue Yeti mic?
Been loving this headset. People I play with noticed how good it sounded when I first switched.
Corsair Virtuoso still king in terms of wireless mic
Do you think I should get these or the corsair headphones? I already have a blue yeti so mic isn't a problem
Very informative video. If you can have a chance to grab 'MASSDROP X BEYERDYNAMIC DT 177X GO HEADPHONES' in near future I would love to watch your review on that one as a gaming headphone. Thank you Dmitry.
@hardware canucks, which one has better sound, g pro or g935? like better sound for games, movies and music.
SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless is the headset to beat imo. Best user experience I've had with a wireless headset.
Do you think its worth $330? I'm interested in it.
@@badppled Its 100% worth the price. The mic is better than any of the headsets he showed here. The sound is way above any of the headsets in this video. Yes you can get close to The Arctis Pro Wireless for about $250 but they will not be as feature rich as the Arctis. My only gripe with the headset is the head band. I have had mine for about a year now and the band has stretched to the point that I am about to buy a new band. Not a big deal. I have found them on amazon for as little as $10.
@@badppled Yeah I've only had it for about 2 weeks but really liking it so far. @@LittlefootOnthetrail16 LMAO. you can a way better pair of headphones for $330. Foh. My friend had them and they broke after 2 months and not do to user error. Their build quality is terrible.
@@potion95 Yes one pair of headphones breaking after 2 months means they are all trash. I know my Sennheiser HD 660 S are trash because the first pair stopped working a week after I got them. Never mind the pair sitting at my desk that have been going strong for well over a year now. I mean your friends 2 months with the headset so trumps my year with them. I own quite a lot of headphones wired and wireless. Out of all my "gaming" headsets I like the Arctis pro when I want wireless. Hell they are my go to for watching movies on the couch now. I won't say they are the best you can buy. But they are damn good and worth the price.
Pros: Build Quality, Decent Stereo Audio, Wireless.
Cons: Microphone became Trash, Surround Sound still Trash, Slightly Heavier, More Expensive, G Hub is buggy as Hell, Scratches Easily, Chrome Grooves get Dirty.
Guess for those wanting this pair they should wait till Logitech addresses the poor mic.
Which is better jbl quantum 800 or that?
Most of these cons look like user error. I've never had any issues with G Hub, no bugs, nothing. Everything works well. You mentioned "build quality" as a pro, and complain about scratches and weight...wtf?! How the f*** did you manage to scratch such a quality build headset???... How??... Chrome grooves get dirty? Then clean it. Simply. I don't know about G Pro X stereo audio, but my G533 in stereo sounds TERRIBLE!!... I always have surround sound turned on, for everything, even music sounds MUCH better and richer with surround sound. I hope G Pro X have good stereo for music, and accurate channel positioning surround sound in movies and games. My friend has them, and he says they're fantastic.
On the mic testing ur wrong or u have done something wrong. I have the same ones and i actually stream with them and its sounds beautiful❤️.
It sounds like your mic is stuck on 8kHz sampling rate. I had this problem on the G933. You should be able to fix it in the advanced tab in the microphone properties in the sound control panel.
Wow, literally looks like the blue version of my HyperX Cloud 2.....
2006 called- they want their mic back
2006? It sounds like the crap plastic desk mic I got with my Soundblaster 32 back in 1994 lol

I found wireless useful a lot of times but if the cable is long enough it's not that distracting for me at least, is it long?
The 900 series of headsets were the last to use true Dolby Virtual Surround. That's why their surround sounded so much better. It's when they switched to Dolby Headphone X, that the sound just took an absolute dive. I've been a happy G933 owner for quite a few years, and it came with a toggle for both Dolby Surround and Headphone X. It was my first experience with Headphone X, and it sounds so.. hollow, and low quality. Almost like your surround sound is coming through a tin can.
These seem like good headphones for me since I already have a yeti blue mic. I still think I will go with the Arctis 7 due to them being wireless for $150.
that mic is trash. its like from cheap gaming headphone
Yeah loool 😂
As someone with $20 turtle beaches, that's insulting. Mine sound way better than these.
These sound like the inline microphones you (used to) get with phone earbuds
Ok I was about to ask I just bought the blue mic one and it sounds great. Glad I didn't waste my money.
I Don’t get why these r $200 when you could get equally as good but cheaper headphones with a better, separate mic
Never buy a headset get a real pair of headphones logitech headsets suck
Hi mate, would like Ibra feedback on this because I was looking for a comfortable headset for someone wearing glasses (me). Thanks
Just curious, when you're using these in stereo do you set windows output to stereo as well or do you leave it on surround or 5.1?
coolermaster MH751 & 752 one of the most underrated headsets out there. and by far superior on terms of mic when it comes to headsets just my opinion. I i used to have it untill i jumped to an openback headphone with a dedicated usb mic.
The GSP670 doesn't have the problem you described at 5:18. It did at first, but after a firmware update a few months ago, my headset gets detected and paired by the time I get to the windows login screen.
I just wish there were a wireless headset with
1. good surround sound
2. good mic.
3. a bit more bass heavy sound
4. looks nice
so far I have not found one
I'd like to see a review on the new new JBL Quantum series, specially quantum 800, it seems too good to be true
Yess this is what I was waiting for!!
they kinda suck tho
When is the Hyperx cloud flight s review coming?
I hope you guys will review the Drop Pandas.
So it sounds like they're great if you use a standalone mic. Works for me!
with the type-c port how long does it take to charge?
