FAQ About Biking Across Japan 🇯🇵

I have gotten a lot of questions about the bike trip across Japan so I decided to make this video going over some of the most common ones. Feel free to ask any other questions and I will answer them here. I made it about half way across the country with our city bike before I had to leave. I will hopefully finish the bike ride in the upcoming spring.

How did you chose your route? Did you follow an official japanese bike route?

Hey Karin!
I didn't follow a specific route. I made a list of different sights and cities that I wanted to see in Japan. After I saw what I wanted I made plans to go to next stop and generally kept moving north. I broke the long journey into many smaller steps to help me manage the adventure. I tried a few different apps for navigation but google maps was the most useful since I could easily see changes in elevation, traffic, road closures, accommodations, convenience stores, ect.
