- For this year's International Mother Language Day, Dr. Ibrahim & Dr. Ibreez thought they'd try something fun and new- test the other on difficult words in their native language and see how it went!
What's your native language? Do you feel you are doing enough to keep it alive?
Also who do you think won? 😝

Thank you for this, much appreciated. Can you tell me what would happen to my NHS pension if, at 57 years old (and 35 years full time NHS), I decided to work part time e.g. 3 days per week? I opted to remain in the 1995 section, though understand that from July this year I will be contributing to the new CARE pension system (plus have the 7 yrs 'remedy' choice).
If the 1995 section is 'the best year from the last 3 years worked' and I work 3/5 days, would my pension end up reduced to 3/5?
Aww enjoyed the video so much ☺️ love to see both of u vaiya & apu ❤️
Glad you liked it!
I did mbbs from China but the university isn’t listed in the second schedule of Malaysian medical council but if I do postgraduation from China in the listed university of Malaysian medical council am I eligible for getting registration in Malaysian medical council ? Please say.
This was really cute, and as a Bengali, i think Ibrahim's Bengali pronounciation is really cute too!!
Aw thanks!
Didn't know Dr. Ibreez was Kashmiri!
I'm a Kashmiri as well.. and well.. chhot chot chath chyot they are not the same words.. 🤣🤣🤣.
P.s. your pronounciation is very good!! 🥳
Mouj kashir ❤️ And thanks!
Wow this was funny waiting for a day you post about how you guys got together ? Or would that be too personal 😅I'm kinda curious
👍🏻
I learned a few Kashmiri words from my friends. So I can say it is a "waria asal" video.
Good word choice by Ibrahim bhaia to make us revise those forgotten words. 🙃🙃
Thanks a ton!
Knowing both bangla and Kashmiri I would say that Bengali is a sweet language and easy to grasp Kashmiri is a staunch chilly and harder one . Ibreez was a little unfair though using very tough words 😛
Appreciate your videos. Will you make a video on how people treat Muslims in the UK and if it’s suitable for Muslims? Much love!
👍🏻
Hey, I am also from kashmir sgr.. From which college you pursued you mbbs?
🇧🇩
I'm a nurse who has just moved to the UK from Australia. I have to wait until 2027 until I can access UK home student university fees - by then I will be age 37/38. I am considering studying medicine at that age. Do you think your late 30s are too late to start studying medicine and work as a doctor in the UK? I know that people say "anything is possible," but I do think that in the case of medicine there is probably an upper age limit to start the degree. Wondering if you'd ever cover this in a video?
To be fair, I've worked with a newly graduated F1 who was 45 at the time he became a doctor. Similarly I currently work with a mother of two who started medicine after raising her kids, she's now an SHO and is 50.
Sure it's unusual to start at that age, you might be the odd one out. But you certainly won't be the only one. There's no upper age limit and you won't be discriminated against on that basis.
@@goatnibblez Thanks for your reply! Do you think certain specialities are off limits at these high ages (say 40 and above?)
@@emilyh7912 Not off limits, although some specialties will certainly be more difficult with age more due to physical toll.
Some specialties disallow applications from candidates who have too much experience e.g 5 or more years postgraduate. So there may be an upper limit of postgraduate medical experience you can have which disqualifies you. I've yet to see any specialty where there is an upper age limit.
It's fun! By the way, Ibreez apu was thinking about "নিশীথিনী সম (nishithini shomo)" from Tumi Robe Nirobe.
That's what I thought!!
Yes exactly!!
Hello sir.. can you make a video on how bad the NHS crisis is and how relevant is it to IMGs like us?
👍🏻

I kind of guessed ibreez would be kashmiri because of her clothing (tilla work done on her shirts). By the way i love that i guessed right. Which part of the kashmir are you from?

Which kind of job in India will be considered as work experience after passing PLAB:
1. Medical officer at a hospital
2. Medical officer at a company or airlines
3. Tutor in a medical college
These are all considered work experience.
