- I hope yall enjoyed the normal projects while they lasted, I am back on my shenanigans - so here is my attempt to make a dress out of 1000 old phone cases!

the number 1 question seems to be “how do you even get it through doors?”
and the answer is that i built it so that it splits in half! its like 6.5ft wide so even at 3ish feet its still a squeeze through doors, but it makes it possible!!

@@IcouldBeInYourWalls1. Casetify reached out to me about making something out of old phone cases! and I’ve honestly always wanted to make a big organ pleated dress (ever since seeing violet’s dress at the s8 finale) so i thought this would be a cool way to combine the 2 concepts!

Why do you have to keep videos under 15 minutes? Is it not possible to make, say, an extras scene or part two when needed/you want to?

I just don't understand how this is possible, the whole process of making the base, I was just amazed on the problem solving and creativity skills she has man 😭
This isn't just fashion, it's a feat of engineering that's quite impressive. Amazing work!
Fashion is always engineering. Just the act of getting flat fabric to fit around a not flat person takes some brain power.
Imaging: You go to a convention in this dress. When the crowd is overwhelming you, you can hide in the skirt, take a break and have a privet Tea Party in a colorful tant. 🤩

I walked by this dress at my local mall in Santa Clara and was really blown away by the level of detail, only to see this video uploaded a few days later detailing the making of it! Very cool!

i usually never comment on videos, but i just love your creativity on your crazy outfits. every time i watch a video of yours i instantly think of 2019 met gala and how you would’ve ATE. you capture the essence of the camp aesthetic so well. camp is hideously gorgeous, it’s free and messy, and it’s just… chaotic. i love how this dress is just so… out of this world. it’s gorgeous but it’s made of a broken phone cases, which makes it camp and crazy. most of all, i love how you and your other projects consist of the wackiest ideas and how versatile everything is. this is amazing.

I've got REALLY excited when you put the skirt on wheels, maybe for a weird reason. I'm Brazilian and in the carnaval parades a huge highlight of every parade is the Mestre Sala and Porta-Bandeira (the best translation I think would be ringmaster and flag holder), couples with amazing dancing skills that bring the samba school flag along. The Porta-Bandeiras always have a big and flashy skirt, and the skirt are big structures with wheels on the bottom so she can move, dance and twirl in them (also the flagpole is built in the skirt, so they can twirl REALLY fast). So when you said you would put the dress on wheels I knew IMMEDIATELY that it would work!
I am so impressed with this dress... like I wish I would love to see this in person or even help make stuff like it.
