rofl. it literally was like watching an infomercial from a script. people don't care about charisma dude. people care about being real. tons of amazon reviews saying these $500 are waste of money with broken parts after short time. if everything is designed to fail might as well get a cheaper one and replace it after a couple years if it lasts that long.
@@Paperclown Steelcase is a highly recognized brand in the office industry and their chairs come with a 12 year warranty! If anything breaks, you can just ask them for replacement parts instead of buying a whole new chair! This also shows that the company trusts in their product! I have a question about the chair: is it suitable for 8+ hours at computer? Some people said about Series 2 that it has a seat too hard for long periods.

It's insane to me how willing people are to spend $2k on an office chair. Looking online seems like 99% of people just order a Gesture or Leap, meanwhile I nearly pass out when I see the price of those chairs. I might actually order a series 2, you're pretty convincing and I think we are almost the exact same size.

So now that it has been 5 months, how do you still feel about the chair?
I've actually been using this chair for 10 months now and everything I said has stayed the same! Super comfortable and no durability issues at all! No fabric is ripping, no creaks or any wobbling! Sad to see that the price has increased tho during COVID... Thanks for watching! 😁
Thanks for the update. I seriously need a new chair and need something that is comfy but durable. Yea covid has raised all prices on chairs but with the amount of adjusmenta thia chair has it seems worth it.
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy this chair, although the way I have it configured it'll be almost $800 lol. Quite a bit different than the Walmart chairs I've always had before.
I wish this leaned back more though. I'd prefer something that almost went back so it was horizontal. But I guess the chair fits everything else for me so I'll probably get it.

@@EvilMonk3y60 It still works for me. The seat part can be a bit too hard so I just throw a cushion over it. For my preference, I wish the arms turned in a bit more.

I got a S2 last week and so far I am a bit disappointed and unsure if mine is faulty or not. The problems I have with the chair are the fact that it won't fully go down, or at least so it seems. The height from floor to middle of seat should be 410 mm as their specs say, however mine at it lowest goes for about 450 mm. I was wondering if it's also your case? Also another very annoying issue is the seat wobble, mine wobbles quite a lot even front and back, and a bit sideways more on the side without the button. Sometimes even when I sit on it I feel it like sliding a bit. I really had too high expectations from Steelcase 🤣 but other than that, I am happy with it.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience! I measured my height from the middle of the seat to the floor to be around 380-390mm! The seat also doesn't wobble for me at all 😞 I think your chair may be a little defective or may have been installed wrong... I haven't heard many cases where Steelcase chairs were defective but they have a good warranty! Definitely email customer support! Hope this helps and have a great day! 😁

I bought 2 Series 1 chairs in the past month (thinking the 1st one was defective) and both seats wobble! Not sure what changed but I bought a Series 1 4 years ago and the seat barely wobbles even today. I'm thinking about getting the Series 2 but don't want to run into the same issue and have to return again 🤔.

If you're considering a steelcase chair, you don't need to go with your gut. They have showrooms and a huge dealer network and are available ot office furniture resellers used. Don't believe the BS about refurbished.

@@Gadgetsu oops sorry its still 620 currently. I had configured it for the 4 way adjustable arm which adds on 80 making it 700. The "starting at" price changes based on the configurations that you make. Bad web design imo.

Idk, everything else is fine. It's a chair. Worth 650 or more, nah. Will it last 10 years sure. It makes me sit with good posture though. I like that.
