The first of a series of short talks for colleagues in Network Rail and the wider rail industry on how ETCS (cab signalling) operates.
This talk is about how the Onboard keeps track of its location and uses information from the Trackside to decide the safe limits of movement. It also looks at how the confidence interval is managed.
