    Nice video !
I suggest that you make a video on how to ask for a employment contract renewal in the presence of multiple generous job offers on the other side !
How to politely ask for a salary raise and leverage the whole situation ...
    Thanks a lot

So many over produced videos out there giving salary advise that are three times as long and not even half as good as this three minute masterclass of a guy in a chair straight telling it like it is

Many times I have asked for a raise, saying I have been offered a better job. I say I would like to stay, as you are a good company, but I want to progress and earn more money and benefits.
If they don't want to talk, then I offer 2 weeks notice, and ask if I can use my holidays before then.
As they don't want to bother going to The trouble and paperwork, HR or the owner has always negotiated.
This has worked with small jobs and firms, all the way to large companies and the government.
I guess I am confident in lying to get ahead, only once did I have a real offer of new job.
Once they negotiate once , I keep going each year as I know they are weak. When they get angry, I know I've won, the longer the meeting , the more HR bullies in room the more I ask for. I always ask to have offer in writing, and I rub it in by saying I will consider it, I wish to talk to other company first.
