So many things to love about Dr Dray. But one of the things I REALLY love is straight jumping in to the topic without mindless intro involving singing, dancing, crying and telling people about how your grand parent lost a hand like other youtubers do.

I am a black woman who uses, Discoloration Serum and Niacinamide Brightening toner and it leaves my skin clean, smooth, and my dark spots very well. What works for you and what works for me is two different things. These products well for MY skin.

I’ve been waiting for this one! I’ve been using the instant cleansing balm for a year and a half and it is amazing. The smallest amount cleans off everything from no makeup days to my heavier days- even mascara! Also no weird residue left behind. I’ve been hesitant to try anything else from the brand until you reviewed as I’m now a super minimalist with the retin a I’m on

I’ve asked you to review this brand a few times on IG, I had to stop because I didn’t want to be annoying, so I’m super happy to see this come up! That discoloration serum is great for clearing up redness from my daughters acne. We have definitely noticed improvement, not so much for my dark spots from the sun. I contacted Good Molecules about the Super Peptide Serum a few weeks ago because it has been out of stock for a while and was wondering when it would be back and they said they are currently working on reformulating it so hopefully they take out the fragrant essential oils like they have done with their other serums. They seem to do a good job at listening to their customers.
FYI - Good Molecules just brought their Super Peptide Serum back in stock and they took the Bergamot oil out 👏🏻🙌🏻👏🏻

I had to leave a comment on this older video because I am going through one of my infrequent "I think I need a new serum in my skincare routines!" periods and wanted a refresher on your take on the Good Molecules products before I ordered. And I love so much that you always at some point in these videos remind us that fewer products in our routines are generally better ... because that always makes me pause and question if I *really* need to add a serum to my basic sunscreen / morning antioxidant / evening tretinoin routine and, invariably, decide that I do not. So, THANK YOU, once again! 💜
I really like the cleansing balm. It removes makeup well without leaving a residue or irritating my skin. The silicone-free priming moisturizer works well for me in the summer.
Love the cleansing balm, it's so affordable and works great without breaking me out 😍 I also do like the eye gel, it gives a nice glowy bright look
I’ve used the instant cleansing balm. It does really well removing mascara and eyeliner. It’s easy to wash off and leaves the skin moisturized.

Came here to see what she thought of the hydrogel eye patches as I just bought some to try. Imagine my surprise when I hear her say they’re similar to the ones I’ve been using from Derma E! The Good Molecules ones are cheaper so I think I will be using those more often, but it’s great to know she likes both of them. I think they’re both fantastic as well!
Thanks for the review of this brand - I was sitting in the edge of my seat to hear about the Super Peptide Serum, which you passed on at the end of the video because it contained bergamot oil, but looking at the ingredients of it from a few years ago vs. now, they’re different!
The Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil is nowhere to be seen in the reformulation! 🎉
I received a sample of the cleansing balm in an order from Beautylish. Loved it so much I bought two tubs of it. It works amazing & doesn't leave a hard to wash off film on the skin. Great first step in a double cleanse.
I use the 2nd bar cleanser you mentioned on my face , body when needed & for my delicate Japanese Fude artist brushes.

Love those hydrogel eye patches too! Good molecules turns out to be a American concept, but created in a lab in South Korea , hence it’s a k-beauty brand, I wasn’t aware of this until I read the details.

Several years ago I fell for the hype around rosehip seed oil and used it every night for a year. It did absolutely nothing for my skin. Did not care for the 'earthy' smell of it either.

This was super helpful, as always. I've really enjoyed the cleansing balm, I've tried them all. This one is sooo soft and doesn't burn my eyes! The priming moisturizer is nice, I ALWAYS have pilling, this one helps, but not moisturizing enough for my eczema. I have the same experience with the niacinamide toner 😩 itchy. I really hope the discoloration serum helps with some old eczema scars. We'll see 🙌🏻

Good Molecules cleansing balm fits perfect for my skin! I highly recommended! And will go back again and make it a stable routine for removing everything on my face and importantly, eyes! I tried many cleansing balms with heavy perfumes strange scents that are too strong for my nasal and give me headaches, makes my face itchy and suck my face dry and makes my eye (left eye swell with contact dermatitis and eyes burning and also red) ...a bit of grittiness ( exfoliation)to it...just my 2 scents here.
Thank you for this review! Even though I don't have access to this products I learnt a lot about ingridients! FYI about the Bulgarian oil, the only one I know of is the Bulgarian rose essential oil which is made from the pedals. I wouldn't put that on my face but it smells really nice! I remember Dr Dray drinking the rose sirup that is made from the oil. Much better than putting it on the face!

I've used two tubs of the cleansing balm, it's good....works well removing makeup and doesn't leave my eyes cloudy.

I’ve tried the cleansing balm and it was just as effective as the Farmacy green clean or Clinique take the day off balm but I went through it too fast so I switched to the iUnik cleansing oil.

Whew - I love this brand so I’m glad for the most part of these recommendations. I know you don’t like eye cream but I appreciate ones that are inexpensive because I’m 45 and I like paying attention to that area. Love the cleanser I’m on my 3rd bottle and love it. I also appreciate when they change something- the note it on the packaging. Love the price and appreciate that the packaging is pretty.
I've fallen in love with the yerba mate eye cream tbh. Love how my eyes look about 10 minutes after applying it and I'm a 50 yo sugar loving smoker so it has a lot to contend with.

The brightening toner, the serum and pineapple exfoliating powder are perfect for my brown skin. I have sensitive, combination, acne-prone skin and my skin responded really well to these three. 10/10 for all three. ❤
I watch a few dermatologists that focuses specifically on brown skin and they both agree that those work for brown and darker skin

I’m surprised you reacted to the toner, I was sent a bunch of these products to try out and fell in love with it! Such an upgrade from the one I was trying from the Ordinary, which is definitely sticky.
The toner is so good.
As I’m nearing my 40th birthday in less than 6 months I have been focusing on having an arsenal of skincare products that address my needs instead of makeup to cover up my problem areas. Wearing a mask changed my routine from heavy foundation to tinted moisturizer and every time I try and go for a “glam” look it feels terrible to me!! I’m so happy to be embracing my natural self! 🥰

I alternate the aha/bha exfoliant with retinol; I like how my skin is looking. I also use squalane and rosehip seed oil alternate mornings... I'm enjoying good molecules products.

The toner also made my akin tingle/burn a bit. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin either so I stopped since my concern is hyperpigmentation and any irritation will counter/prolong my journey.

I’ve been wondering about the products in this brand and I’ve been trying my best to research and understand the difference between alpha and beta arbutin so thank you so much for clarifying which ingredient derives the most benefit. I’ve been using the discoloration serum for a couple of weeks now. I haven’t seen major improvements yet in my hyperpigmentation so we’ll see. I’m excited to try out a few more products from this brand.

I actually looooved the toner!
The cleansing balm is pretty good. I like that it has no noticeable smell. I will say however that I have to warm it up much more in my hands first (especially compared to the Clinique take the day off balm) - it gets kinda chunky...doesn’t melt completely if that makes sense. Guess whatever oils are in there have a higher melting point.
Hi Dr Dray, I've been diagnosed having scrotal eczema, do you have any tips to control the eczema on there? I was given steroids and the flare subsides, I'm maintaining it with aveeno eczema therapy balm.
I've tried the cleansing balm and it works really well. It does have an odd smell to it though.
I liked the cleansing balm, but I found that, compared to my favorite balm from Clinique, it didn't spread as easily or rinse as clean. It's a tiny difference, however. I guess I just preferred the Clinique balm experience.

Thanks for this review. I am currently trying some of their products. In the past I did use their cleansing balm. It was wonderful for cleansing and it rinsed off really well. However, it slightly irritated my eyes.
The cleansing balm is really good. I’ve repurchased it multiple times. Takes off all my sunscreen and makeup (including waterproof mascara) and it washes off easily leaving no film or noticeable residue.
I love it too - plus it’s kinda fun scooping it out of the jar 😂
And i totally agree! It takes out foundation,sunscreen and waterproof mascara! And what i like about it doesn't have like gritty stuff and heavy fragrance that irritate the nasal and give headaches and itchy face like most cleansing balms. Good Molecules is really good!

I’ve been wanting to try their Dark Spot serum! I’m currently using the Ordinary Niacinamide serum and think this might be a step up from that.

Hi I haven't tried the brand, but I did get a couple of samples recently of the toner and moisturiser. As I have super sensitive skin with both rosacea and eczema, the toner is a concern (I also saw that Kelly Driscoll didn't tolerate it either). I've been reluctant to patch test even, but may try a tiny bit. The moisturiser looks a bit too lightweight for my extremely dry Winter skin tbh, so I might try it in the warmer months. I love the cleansing balm, I have gone through several jars. I introduced the balm to my 25 yr old daughter who also loves it. At one point I ran out and tried the Inkey List cleansing balm and found it did not remove mascara as well and it (Inkey)was difficult to remove with second step cleanse
Dr. Dray I so curious to hear your thoughts on a new product at Ulta. The Pur 4 in 1 Sculpting Concealer-I believe that is what it’s called. This product has retinol in it. I’m interested to hear your thoughts on cosmetics mixing in skincare ingredients. Thank you!

I really enjoy Stratia liquid gold and the sea buckthorn it contains. The overview of this brand reminds me of a step up from The Ordinary. I’ve tried the cleansing balm and it was okay but I went through it too fast to purchase again. I tried the peptide serum and it wasn’t that moisturizing for me.
