    3D printing is such a fun tool for iterative design! I've mostly used it for my science work and I don't have a printer of my own, but I love it so much! these designs are really cool! I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future.

    Bearing press, nice. I swap wheels all the time (almost daily) using a skate tool with a bearing press, but it is awkward to skate with. I'm going to Maryhill this month and was looking for something I can use on the fly.

    3в printing a footstop while watching this video for puck raiser inspiration.
    Universal puck raiser looks sick, would very much like to try it

    Yoo owen there's a guy in my country that made de pucks raises, but basically what you need is the ergonomics dimensions of the hand it should be like a chart with sizes and try for a way that they integrate with the hand like your prototype

    • @owencampbell777
      @owencampbell777  Před rokem

      I definitely plan on making multiple sizes if I ever decide to sell these!

    If you can print tpu on your ender for the bumper it would increase it's longevity, I use a foaming tpu from colorfab great impact resistance.
    Just a little suggestion to save costs on repeat printing

      I’ll check it out! Only potential issue is that I would have to come up with a new mounting solution

      @@owencampbell777 if you increase the perimeters the design should not require to be altered!

    Weight mounts so you don't have to drill holes in you board when you put on a drift weights.

    That bearing press is ingenious, I would definitely get one of those, would it work for an inbuilt bearing?

    • @owencampbell777
      @owencampbell777  Před rokem

      Yes, compatible with all skate bearings! I designed it specifically to accommodate for built-in bearings

      @@owencampbell777 Very cool. I am surprised these don't exist already. Closest I can think of are bearing savers and I think that just saves the dust caps

    Love your designs. Is the bearing press tool just a bearing with the core replaced with plastic?
