On the older models like mine you hook up the wire listed IR and it programs as a kenwood. Newer models may be pioneer other with pac. Seems Epsilon keeps changing SWC protocols with new radio models
I have this unit and a Acura TL 06 and my installer says he had issues with the monitor hitting something when it comes out. Any help on this or where I can get this installed

Are you 100% sure, a dab receiver can not be added via USB port. Also the TV tuner is addition as well. Most double din head units are capable of adding these on via USB ports and downloading apps from play store etc

I can see a problem on your unit that you haven't mentioned. The grease on the top screen. It happens every time the screen comes in and out. I know because I had this issue as well.
I've been watching videos but no one actually put the backup or front view camera in the videos. Was that tested? Does it work with that feature?

Offerald fitzgerald jr two of these the dash kits had to be modified. The installer needs to be able to fabricate in certain applications.

S8 works software is old. Contact sound stream directly for update via email. You can update radio via usb

Yes it is well oiled. That is not a problem. Most cheap radios never have enough or have plastic gears. This is a non issue.
