How is the sound quality of the head unit? Any drop between radio, DVD, and USB playback? Soundstream has d erratic quality over it's life span -- I remember using Soundstream amps exclusively to compete way back when, then the build quality changed. Over the past few years, it seems Soundstream is trying to regain its former reputation for indestructible excellence....

Does the bottom screen have tilt? Looks like while watching DVD you can't see the screen as good cause of the angle

USB takes care of it all, then throw the phone in armrest since it is now on the dash.

can this radio work in a car that's already equipped with cameras? front, rear and side cameras already equipped in car. maybe you can make a video to show how it works with the dual screens?
Does it have HD Radio capability? Also, can you install any APP from the play store, such as Torque, kodi. And can you connect it to a OB2 sensor?
It's going to go out because I had the same radio in my Pontiac Grand Prix and the radio came out over my AC vents then Eventually the screen went out

Only reason I didn't get this was because it doesn't support Android auto. I feel it so much better than that 2nd rate phone connectivity system

How do I factory reset my soundstream. Vrn-dd7hb dual screen double din on the bottom screen there's a reset button and it only resets the setting the problem I'm having is that my gps on the top screen has a frozen picture of a car that has f-cell printed on it. I updated the navigation threw the appropriate web site and nothing. I diconected the Bart for 30 min and nothing I'm hoping a master or factory reset would do it!!! Thanks
Same shit happen to my gps screen... tried updating it with the android 7/8 update then it got stuck on that f cell pix

Will this fit the 2005 expedition? The factory stereo is recessed about an inch into the dash board
I have an 04 Expedition, it fits…. I had the installer adjust it outward so the face clears
I'm trying to hook up my swc on my 04 volvo xc70, I'm using the axxess aswc-1 universal swc. Trying to go by the 06 wiring that should be the same as the 04. Just can't seem to get it working.

I've been watching videos but no one actually put the backup or front view camera in the videos. Was that tested? Does it work with that feature?
I put one in my 2008 Escalade all options do work sound quality is good and yes the bottom screen does tilt flat when top screen is closed ,the only problem is the phone link won’t work,the backup pic is good

@@SoundstreamTVNetwork 2nd response. Here's the problem. I'm reading that the bottom sticks out 3 inches and since it's not flush with the dash, total stick out is at least 3.5 inches. My shifter in 1st gear is 3.5 inches from the Shaker 500 2005 Mustang. Unfort, this isn't going to work. Thanks

Hey Soundstream remake this unit whit a bitchin custom Android os and you will see it sell well don't fall behind like the others Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony just to name a few, please get with the times people liked the idea of having something like a tablet based car radio in their cars remember a couple years ago people fiddled around with that concept and it quite became pretty popular hey the Chinese got it that's why they started to build em just look at ATOTO and EONON. I did a quick survey with random co-workers showed them few double din proprietary pictures and videos of screen GUI's but covered or blurred the name brands and over and over people liked and showed more interest towards the Android version and that alone speaks volumes just thought I'd shared that with you, thanks.
I have the same model I just put in I am having a problem. The problem is that when I choose to close the top screen my bottom screen doesn’t close flush it still tilted when the top screen is folded down how do I fix this?

i used my usb and just went to settings on my phone went to about device then find the build number. click that 7 times then it should say developer phone on. it works. I got the same phone as you
Ace House I did that but it still won't work. it connects, the notification pops up and everything , I press ok and it just goes to the screen that would be mirroring but it's just blank 😣😣😣😣

Eric Froemming true I understand that it's trying to be universal and fit in the mejority of cars with cars having limited space but it also should have an adjustment button so you can adjust the amount of angle you have it would look slot better in my opinion
