Available Now: mercury-studios.lnk.to/Foreig...
Featuring the classic Foreigner line-up of Jones, Gramm, McDonald, Greenwood, Gagliardi and Elliott, this show captures the essence of a group who would go on to become one of the best-selling bands of all time.
On April 27 1978, after their self-titled debut album had spent a year in the US Top 20, rock’s conquering heroes played a sold-out show at London’s legendary music venue, the Rainbow Theatre.
Opening with 'Long, Long Way From Home', the band’s legion of fans were treated to a magnificent display of musicianship and performance, including local hit singles, 'Feels Like The First Time' and 'Cold As Ice', as well as an exclusive preview of two tracks from the upcoming ‘Double Vision’ album.
Forty years on, this definitive performance by the original band has been restored from the original film reels, remixed and remastered for this release.

Lou Gramm has the best voice ever!
Perfect all around. But, Lou Gramm singing is out of this world.
Nothing can replace the original monster line-up of Foreigner.
now that is a real badass singer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There’s nobody better than Lil Graham
Lou
Lou Gramm is the absolute best lead they ever had!
He had and apparently still has a great voice and range. Thanks Foreigner. Great band.
Kelly Hanson blows him away in my opinion but he is the original so I get why you said that
@@robbyjtyler4379 Kelly doesn't come close imo. Technically he is good tho and sounds good, but kinda bland
@@robbyjtyler4379 Kelly can not come close to Lou's magnificent voice, or charisma, or energy.
@@robbyjtyler4379 Kelly is an ok singer, I'll admit as much as that, but he puts me to sleep after 20 minutes. I could listen to Lou 24/7, though. Even now at 73 he's pretty great.
Virtuoso-level Rock singing. Huge vocal influence on me.
Why on earth isn't this band in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame????
Not commercial enough...
They deserve it for sure, but music shouldn’t be like sports anyway.
I kinda think music doesn’t need to be like sports. I can understand baseball players and rating stats and all, but that stuff doesn’t apply to musicians/music. Or at least it shouldn’t IMO
The hall is a crap organization that's why. Bon Jovi is in but bad company isn't for ex.
because they are a good band. they don't deserve the insult of being in any way associated with that vile rat nest. no self-respecting music act should. we're still disappointed that Rush accepted; however, they did that only because the fans wanted to stick it to rolling stone magazine. lifeson's speech perfectly expressed what every music fan feels about that hall of so-called fame.
RIP Ian McDonald.....
Lou Gramm, the God of rock vocalists!
Lou has a unique voice. Very different. Very cool !
This original band lineup had lightning in a bottle...this is awesome!
That's because they had Lou Graham, this new guy sucks.
@@TheAnalyticalObservers Kelly Hansen é maravilhoso, canta muito, é dono de uma belíssima voz. Isso é fato, é questão de aceitar. Aceite!

Lou Gramm equals
perfect Rock voice
Lou Gramm Live Sounds Exactly like the Recording! Amazing! That’s how Great a Vocalist he is!
D RolyPolyMan he really is fantastic.
Lou lofting around that high B at pure ease just like Steve Walsh. One of the best hard singers on earth in his prime!
Joe Lynn Turner?
Great band! Lou Gramm should get a lot more recognition.
his voice sounds very clean and rested
for this show
damn - the drummer is much less restrained live. sounds fucking awesome!
original drummer so underrated
Ed on bass killing it.
the dude! could flat out sing back then
R.I.P. Ed Gagliardi on Bass ..
ONE OF THE TIGHTEST BANDS ON EARTH,WITH A GENIUS AT THE MIC,YEP
I was lucky to be at that concert in 78...what a great band...I remember listening to Capitol radio promoting the concert...'Rock in anyone's language'!...great memories..❤
When they break it down with that harmony, and then the bass line comes back in...that part is my jam!
Hell yeah Lou Gramm is the Man 🎤🤘 Foreigner is on hell of a Band supposedly Lou Gramm was singing that good that night with chewing gum in his mouth
These guys really sounded tight here!
THE ORIGINALS WERE GENIUS TOGETHER,them and KANSAS
They were pretty good...a lot pretty good. Great band.
I rather watch these old videos of the original lineup than pay to see those pretenders calling themselves Foreigner now!
Неповторимый Лу Иностранец! Из России с любовью 🔥🤘
Probably their best era.
Listen to 'Hot Blooded' live in Germany, 1981. It's here on CZcams. It's insanely good.
This is Great! Live Foreigner with Lou Gramm the Original Singer! He was and still is Amazing!
These guys were all original band members. Wonder if the keyboard player was having sound problems at 01:35?
The real deal! This is only incarnation of Foreigner that I carry in my heart.
Lou gramm is great vocalist one of the best

3:32 that double bass sounds badass right there!
One of my favorite concerts --- August 13, 1978
Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC)
Front row seats right in front of Ian McDonald (caught a Fender 355 pick he tossed into the crowd)
They opened with a black curtain holding back a full stage of fog that rolled over us as the curtain went up and Mick rang out the riff to Long, Long Way From Home, and the light rack over the entire stage elevated upward. One of the best openings ever.
RIP Ed.
Dennis Elliott totally underrated
Love Foreigner the best with Lou Gramm❤❤❤🔥👍👏👌amazing music and Mr Lou the voice👏👌👍
I was there at that concert...19 at the time...still get an adrenalin rush when I hear them..good times.Remember listening to the radio promotion on Capital radio... 'Foreigner.. rock in anyones language'
how true!
THE ORIGINATORS,ORIGINAL BAND WITH ALL OF THE GENIUS TALENT------- THE MIC KING ON THE MIC
Note to current film editors: This is how you do it...no need to cut every 2.5 seconds...
Best live video of Foreigner, ive ever seen!
What a voice that drive you crazy!
LOU GRANN PRESIOSOS LO AMO
Lou Gramm
Their is only one Louis grammatico Dis man is noooooo joke he left the rest in the smoke 💨
beautiful lou with the voice of a sexy angel
Lou. One of a kind no matter how good the replacement is. He owes ALL his success to Lou. Personal problems notwithstanding Lou Gramm and Foreigner belong in that rotten elitist R&R HOF.
Classic masterpiece!
foreigner was absolutely cooking in the studio
Damn this looks great
fantastic! let's party!
Nailed it!
First record album I ever bought.

Lou Gramn, Mick Jones...
I grew up listening to Foreigner back in the day when I first heard about them and they were popular in the 1970's and I'm lucky enough to be born in the 1970's lol
grande grande gruppo ,fantastico lou gramm
Concordo. No Brasil a fase hard rock do Foreigner é pouco conhecida. Os álbuns dessa fase são os melhores da banda.
My favourite Foreigner tune ... takes me back to my youth!
