  • Learn everything you need to know to catch great boxes of speckled trout and redfish this summer in my latest course, Summer Fish Location: bit.ly/3Pxpkuv
The East Biloxi Marsh is a great destination for catching speckled trout during the summer. It's full of oyster reefs - both natural and man-made - tidal highways carrying various bait (to include brown shrimp), islands that channel water, natural gas platforms that break the current and more.
As with any fishing location, the East Biloxi Marsh certainly comes with its challenges, the first one being that it is a big place. It is vast, and fish aren't located everywhere inside it. You've got to know what to look for and be willing to cover water to find an excellent bite of speckled trout.
Join me in this fishing trip as I set out from Rigolets Marina to fish the L&N Bridge, then a rig in Lake Borgne before finally setting out to tackle the East Biloxi Marsh. Yes, I caught my limit of speckled trout and you'll see which tackle and techniques worked best to that end.
Do you have any fishing tips of your own? Post it in the comments below!
Tight lines, and thanks for watching!

After completing "Summer Fish Locations" course I had one of my best Red fishing trips yet. Thanks Devin 🙂

Thanks for the information Devin. "Ahh, it gets smaller as it gets closer to the boat. It happens!" Classic.

I like the two camera heights on the pole, keeps the scene fresh. Then the drone shot out of nowhere when you lose a fish, didn’t even know you threw up the drone lol.

"I wished that more people would eat them." Then he proceeds to release the catfish. LOL

Capt. Chris is an awesome fisherman, I've had the pleasure of fishing with him one of the most epic trout fishing days of my life.

Devin, I really appreciate all that you put into these videos. My wife and I just moved to the Harvey area from Virginia. Ever since I found out we were moving here, I've been soaking up your CZcams channel. We brought our 19ft Carolina Skiff with us and plan on tearing up some fish round here. See ya out on the water!

Great video Devin, seems like the bigger trout were hanging close to the rigs.

These videos keep getting better. Thanks for taking the time to make them valuable for the fishing community. As you put it, it sheds off years of TOW required to make for successful trips. The courses in LAFB elite help fast track learning even more. Keep it up Devin! 👍🏻

Everyone needs to take note of how you approached the rig. I NEVER fish that particular rig. I like the smaller rigs. But I fished the big one in the video this past Saturday. What’s up with people coming to a rig where boats are already fishing, coming in on plane till they are, no sh*t, maybe 50 yards out then stopping next to you maybe 50 feet away from you. Do they think their special and their boat has no wake?

Ever try the bottom under diving birds for bigger specs? I’ve been told if you get through the smaller specs on top you can sometimes find larger trout underneath. Just wondering if you ever found that to be true. Thnx n keep up the great videos.
