The difference between Jordan and LeBron fans is that Jordan fans saw both of them play, so we can compare who was better.
Most LeBron fans only saw LeBron play, and therefore _want_ him to be better. But us Jordan fans haven't seen LeBron do anything
that Jordan didn't already do, and did better. And that goes for off the court ventures too, such as Space Jam vs Space Jam 2. 🤷‍♂

In the rookie season, he is in the top 2-3, after Larry Bird.
    Bird : 28.7 ppg 10.5r 6.6a 1.6s 1.2b 3.1to
    Jordan 28.2 ppg 6.5r 5.9s 2.4s 0.8b 3.5to
    Bernard King 32.9ppg 5.8r 3.7a 1.3s 0.3b 3.7to
Anyway, before entering the NBA, he played for the Olympics and some preparatory matches. The Olympic team (selected from colleges) against some NBA selection teams that also have Magic, Bird, etc. The Olympic team won all the matches and Jordan was the best player on the field. The coach of the Olympic team said that he is (already) the best player he had ever seen.

To get a sense of today's numbers, check out the latest All-Star Game. Absolutely zero defense. Zero show. Even the training should be more serious. The rest of the season has poor defense. Of course, in a game based on throws from 3, the defense must cover a larger space and there are many situations where you have open space for penetration or throws. So we cannot compare today's numbers with those of 20 years ago or earlier. Today we have inflation. It is much easier to have statistics today. I'm not talking anymore that the rules have changed and that the referees don't sanction violations such as travels, carries, etc.

Jordan still has the record for the best statistical 82 game season ever, with 35/5.5/5.9 on 53% shooting and 3.2 steals & 1.8 block per game in 1988 season.
That was 36 years ago, and no one has ever beaten those 82 game stats. Just CRAZY numbers

MJ was the best player in the league in like his 3rd/4th year. 3rd year he had 37ppg (career high) and in 1988 he had the MVP/DPOY season, which might be the GOAT season of any basketball player EVER.

They would have won the 63 point game vs the Celtics if not for the fact that the three point line was so new. He tied the game from the free throw line with zeros on the clock. But the shot he was fouled on was a three and they weren't awarding three free throws for them back then. On top of that a pre NBA Jordan had already beaten teams of NBA all stars the summer before this season. I'm surprised you haven't reacted to it.

MJ was the best player in the NBA when he entered the NBA… he torched the NBA All-Stars in 8 exhibition games, never losing a game to them in the summer of ‘84 in preparation for the Summer Olympics when hall of fame coach, Bobby Knight, stated that MJ was the greatest athlete and greatest basketball player he had ever seen…and MJ hadn’t played his first game in the NBA yet….

Bobby Knight and Jerry West thought Jordan was the best player BEFORE his rookie season. He led the US Olympic team (of college kids) to an 8-0 record against an NBA all star team which included Walter Barry, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Isaiah Thomas and Robert Parish. Knight thought a 20 year-old MJ was the best player he had ever seen.

To answer your question, as a player, everybody knew he was different from the jump.
    But the Bulls sucked.
    His 87/88 season alone:
    -MVP,
    -Best Scorer,
    -Best Defensive player,
    -Steals leader,
    -Dunk contest winner
    -All-NBA first team
    -All-NBA first Defensive team
    -All Star Game MVP
    -Played all 82 games.
Was on a mission on both ends every night.
Because he couldn't cheat with basketball...
    Stern and everybody saw it.
The main reason why he is still revered today may be cuz he let body, heart and soul on the court.
But Bulls weren't champs until 91...
Even a N°1 offensiveANDdefensive player needs guys around he can trust to do the job.
The 6 and 0 came when he really played 5 vs 5.
Even 23 understood no one can do it alone.
    Then it wasn't about his stats sheet anymore;
it was about leading the team to winning.
    And boy did he win...

Jordan was so interesting, because he was in his athletic decline by the time he hit his peak. By 1991, his best season, he was not as athletic.
But in his youth, he was cat quick. There's no one in the league today who had the the agility, leaping, body control, first step that he did at 6'6.

Don't take us old heads word for it. Take birds' words for it. He called jordan God in basketball shoes. I know you said was jordan the best his first year, and the answer is yes. Here's how that relates. Jordan broke his foot in the beginning of his 2nd year and came back ill advised playing like 17 games before playing bird. M.k. skills couldn't have progressed that much while injured on a broken foot.

Kareem was old and MJ's rookie numbers were insane. Almost his career averages as a rookie. He had already hit a championship winning jump shot for North Carolina. College ball comes before the NBA, something LeBron fans wouldn't know. Admit the truth that MJ is the GOAT so we can appreciate LeBron. I will give you number 2 all time but MJ is just better. I am wearing my Charlotte 33 jersey right now because I am in Australia. Until you admit MJ is the GOAT, I know more about basketball than you do. The only two baskets in town were on the back of Netball goals. The court was used for Netball, not basketball and I know more about the game than you

Jordan was not the best player in the league after his rookie season.
Michael Jordan has an entire Hall Of Fame career of accolades that Lebron don’t even have yet.
    2 More Rings
    2 More Finals Mvps
    1 DPOY
    4 More All Defensive Team
    1 More League MVP
9 More Scoring Titles (Yes, 9)
    3 More NBA Steals Leader
Nothing But Gold in the Olympics. (Lebron has a Bronze don’t he lol)
When Jordan makes it to the championship round of anything he wins. Between college, Olympics and the NBA. His airness is 11-0
MJ played all 82 games 9 times in his career Compared to Lebron doing it once.
Only 4 times in NBA History has a player won the scoring title, MVP, was 1st Team All-Defense, led playoff in scoring and FMVP. All 4 done by the Goat…Michael Jeffrey Jordan.
Lebron has longevity of Jordan and that is all.
Jordan is more efficient and did more in less time.
