Note: All data will be lost/erased and if you had a google account on it, you will have to enter your email and password after reseting it.

I followed the prompts and it worked but it still wants my old password, telling me that my password is incorrect so I'm back at square one.
If you forgot your old gmail account and password, you will need to search for Samsung Tab A8 FRP unlock.
My Daughter blocked her tablet. Your steps are very easy to follow. Just followed once and unlocked Thanx thanx alot. I really appreciate your effort.

so i followed the instructions all the way through but it still ended up asking me for a passcode after it was reset. It gave the message, "Your phone was factory reset. Enter your pin to unlock it" did I do something wrong?
You did it right. But choose use your google account instead and enter your google account
This is also happening to me and it's telling me the Google account that I used isn't the correct one and to use the original owners Google account but there has never been another Google account on this tablet
@@natashalang7233 Maybe you had 2 accounts and you forgot it. You will need to search TAB A8 FRP unlock if you don't know your google account. Good luck

You are a God.... so flipping smart brother. I have a learning disability.. I have delt with my entire life. No biggie though I raised my family and now I am retired. I just followed your instructions and OMG I got it the first try. I locked myself out using a pattern. Well something happened because I never put it on this tablet I just left it next to my chair unlocked..... but I just pushed the power button to reboot the tablet. Reboot is a word I have not seen in years like from the late eighties...... WHAT DO I DO NEXT MY FRIEND. LOL THE OTHER GUYS SHOULD JUST MAKE A COPY OF YOUR Video

I looked back at it and it seems to me like it's setting up a computer back when we bought one when rebooting was still used. 😅

It worked for my s9 ultra. It claimed I used the wrong pin. Just had the tablet since a a day. Thanks to a comment here I attached my tablet to s computer. You do need a Google account password. Thank you

Thank you it was very easy to understand all the steps I did the factory hard reset but it did ask for a pin again but I was able to get in with my Google account
