We gotta chill man. Anyone who actually watches Real Madrid knows that their biggest threats are Vinicius, Rodrygo and then Bellingham, in that order. So if Bellingham is “generational” then Vinicius gotta be a Ballon d’or contender

Bellingham aint a forward. Still got more goals n assists then them this season....ppl quick to forget he was basically carrying the team for goals early in season when Vini and Rodrygo was off form.
If you watch England in 2022 World cup then you'll know Bellingham play in central midfield and become the man of the match against Iran, Senegal, and France.

I would compare Jude Bellingham to Thomas Müller. He plays like a "Raumdeuter". Technically not very gifted, but he goes in the open spaces, which Rodrygo and Vinicius have opened. Like Ribery and Robben at Bayern Munich.
Muller being way more gifted than jude but jude more physical.

The goals he got early on in the season have sugar coated how good he is. Is he among the best young players in the world, yes! Is he the next Stevie G, Scholes, Zidane… he has a long way to go. He is not even on Vini’s level who at 23 is still also improving….

Bellingham is already a lot more skillful, tekky and silky than Gerrard.
In modern football, ideally you need eleven attacking midfielders on the pitch. Ederson and Stones are so silky and tekky they have a lot of number 10 qualities. England now produce so many number 10, Foden, Palmer, Maddison. Bellingham is the best candidate in England to do the Busquets role.

It’s not so straightforward to compare players of different eras. But no doubt barring career threatening injuries he’ll go on to win a lot more trophies than Gerrard. Hopefully one of them is at international level
I dont think Jude can be compared to stevie G. Gerrard was liverpool thru and thru and jude has travelled around europe at a young age to gain experience. Id say he is going to be this generations David Beckham, Star boy, poster boy, Hollywood kinda person, young with a wiser older head on him.
What the caller has said i.e. an England midfield of Rice as the 6, Bellingham as the 8 and Foden as the 10 is what England SHOULD do. However, it will be unlikely that Southgate does this.

Bellingham is actually playing as a false 9 with 3 central midfielders behind him. I still agree with the caller though. Rice-Bellingham-Foden should be the 3 but we all know it will be Rice + holding player - Bellingham 10 and Foden left.
