This is a excellent tool. Easiest nail knot tier out there. The slots make it super easy to hold the line and the "nail" being flat and not ramped like most keeps your loops tight and in place. Good vid by the way too.

Just bought this tool as I'm a dr slicj fan. haven't had time to use it and am not a fan of multi tools but this one looks credibly useful. found the instruction booklet useful and easy to follow and a pleasant surprise was the hook sharpener on the back of the nippers

I keep buying cheap nippers that after a few uses stop cleanly cutting my tippet. Also, the nail knot tool that comes with them are useless. I’m getting one of these for sure!

Thanks, I own this tool but cannot recall the instruction booklet that supposedly came with, however your video is most helpful. I will use it one day, I didn't know what the use was for the nail knot tier! I do now. I bought it to use as a nipper.

You can also use it for mono or fluro on braid for a leader.

I have been trying to use Dr scissor hemostat, mitten scissors. But find the nippers are the best and easiest to use. Though have never used the nail knot tool.

If you ran that knot both ways and jammed then together would that ve the same as a blood knot?

No. The blood knot is a different knot but two nail knots jammed together would be just as good but easier to tie with this tool.
