    Was lucky to play with Johnny and what a great player he was and the best passer of a ball i ever played with or against and he was a lovely person as well. I wish I could go back to them days playing with him which I sadly miss. John Dempsey Ex Fulham Chelsea Player

      @@johndempsey7528 You’re welcome John. With regard to Johnny Haynes , probably lots of younger fans might struggle to remember just what a special player he was . When l was a kid and first started watching the game ( Evertonian here) Johnny was one of the real superstars of British football. He chose to stay at Fulham but would have walked into any of the top European teams. Imagine his brilliant passing ability in the late 1950s early 60s Real Madrid team, or the lnter Milan, Benfica teams that followed them.
