    My 2004 has the dual 3 setting memory front seats.must be a standard.i was about nine,my dad's mechanic was a volvo tech ase certified.40 years later I own a volvo.he still gives me advice about this outstanding company

    I'm still loving my 2017 XC90 T6 R-Design. Volvo still offers free software upgrades which keeps the vehicle safety tech and Sensus navigation and infotainment system current with its latest models.

      My XC90 has auto self parallel and perpendicular in and out parking. I have yet to encounter a situation in my nearly 40 years of driving in which I needed to "summon" my car forward a few feet to where I'm standing.

    love your reviews! your 2020 volvo XC40 rdesign review sold me on a XC40! but I just got the T4 because in my area and in my needs no need for AWD and more upkeep :) but none the less you guys have amazing impeccable reviews! also love it when you do comparisons between car makes and models! very informative! also great exterior and interior shots and showing the key!

    Glad they have 2nd row middle seat. I wish you would have sat there and compared the comfort to outboard seats. That option is much better than captain chairs with no arm rest.

      Is just an effect caused by the frame rate of the camera syncing up with the lights frame rate, so it doesn't actually occur in real life. Congrats on your new Volvo!

      The range is estimated at 18 miles and it would charge fully in about 4 hours using a Level 2 charger

    The wireless charging pad only makes sense if Apple carplay and Android auto is wireless. If it isn't you still have to plug in your phone anyway. Making the charge pad useless.

      Volvo will never do a power telescoping wheel for safety reasons. In the event of an accident where power may be cut off, they want occupants to be able to move the wheel out of the way.

      A plug in hybrid usually has a larger battery pack that can be plugged in to charge. A regular hybrid has to use the engine to recharge the battery pack

    This review made me decide to lease one. I haven’t seen any reviewers mention this but there is no way to schedule your charge. So if your house is on an EV electric rate, then you will have to plug in your charge manually each time to take advantage of the EV rates. Volvo mentioned that they only supports this feature in the U.K. but not in the US. Makes absolutely no sense!

      I plan on leasing the XC90 in August 2022 when my current lease is up. The 2022 model is supposed to have an all new redesign. I’m hoping it isn’t too drastic a change from the current model. How are you liking yours? Pros, cons?

    This car needs a drivetrain improvement. A twin charged 4 cylinder plus hybrid tech means more that could go wrong. The interior and seats are nice, but insufficient to convince me to pull the trigger. In a perfect world, it would be volvo interior in a X5 or Lexus hybrid.

    No paddle shifts of even the R Design anymore?????? I have a 2018 T6, and i couldn't own the car without the manual mode or the paddle shifters, the gerarbox just isn't smart enough without them

      Yes, you are absolutely correct. Volvo is owned by Geely of Communist China. By Chinese law, Chinese companies must hand over any personal identifiable information to the Chinese Communist Party. Shocked people who buy these cars don’t know that.

    Good looking design, but the captain's seat in the 2nd row has no arm rest... very disappointing and driving performance is average only, not impressive compare to its price tag... don't really recommends it, I rather have Audi, BMW, or Range Rover for that price...

    Foglights are not available no matter which trim level you chose? Volvo level of cost cutting still amaze me....
    No adjustable head rests, no adjustable rear seats on most their cars, same with sunshades, small door pockets, no door lights visible when doors are opened....etc, etc.
    But they sell the design and aparently it does sell....

    I think that the Volvo XC90 is better than the Mazda - CX9 and Hyundai - Palisade and Nissan - Pathfinder and Jeep Grand Cherokee but the problems are no availability of the maintenance with unavailability of the spare parts in many Saudi cities 🤔 It is not necessary to do the maintenance at the Volvo agency as far away from remote areas and is better to make contracting with workshops maintaing European cars to solve this problem and making it available, especially competition, is required with Toyota..

      Apparently I must have the only XC90 in existence without mechanical issues according to you. The Volvo production line assemblers must've known exactly which XC90 I was destined to purchase and decided to make sure they put extra care and effort just for me.

    with a damn heavy vehicle which includes even a battery and sometimes 7 human beings....
    I would at least feel insecure about the already over stressed little 2.0 engine with a turbo and a supercharger, it is just like the chinese suv tendence, extremely small engines (for heavy behemoths) with some turbos and things... Here in south america are some examples, the haval and great wall piles of junk are constantly failing because of this.

      More durable, my arse. Range Rovers are better for off roading. For lasting for ages without trouble, Volvo are far better than Range Rover. On average. In general.
