I have a 2012 model. ..bought mine used. ..I love it...But ..be careful about over use of the tilt lock. ..it puts unnecessary stress on the system. ..leave it off and just put your feet down. ..enjoy and stay safe. ..Greetings from the UK
If that’s the case when should you use it than because that’s when I thought it would be the best time to use it like when you’re at a red light or stop sign so you don’t have to put your feet down instead of using it when you at work all day parked or finish riding it in having it on overnight 🤷♂️

I don't know where you're located and I don't know the local laws but I think riding without gloves, a jacket and proper pants is not a good way to promote motorcycling. I noticed a lot of gravel when you were riding - when you go down that is going to result in a lot of gravel burn and loss of skin which is painful. If you can afford the bike you can afford the gear. I owned the 400 version of this bike for a while. It doesn't have quite the industrial look of the 500 but as far as I know all the other features are the same. It holds the road well and can travel at 110km/h the national limit in Australia. The extra wheel up front is handy when the road is wet or slippery with oil or there are pot holes. The under seat storage is adequate with out being great - a top box would be ideal. The standard screen on the 400 is useless it is like a sports bike it does nothing and even with the cowl over the dash the instruments can be hard to read. If I were going to use the bike/scooter for touring I would go for the 500 because it has a bit more power whilst still being able to manage the city traffic. I own a Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive which I think is a better bike but the Piaggio MP3 is a good learner machine.
when you hit the throttle the tilt lock goes off right? When you slow down to stop does it come on by itself? if it is locked while leaning will that mess it up?
No you must actively engage the front wheel lock. It locks the wheels in the position they're in so if you're leaning slightly the wheels will lock at the lean angle which will be a bit worrying when you get going.

Look on the roads quality, flat and smooth...I live in Edinburgh(Scotland) considering our third world roads quality I think traktor or tank is the best option.
I can not imagine that you wold by happy if you fall whitout projecten chlotes. I drive als a 500 from 2019 whit a malossi and Light rols and a akrapovive exaust, runs all most 170 km, even for a litlle ride here a i use projected clohtes, but any way stay safe and injoy your bike. I’m buying this year model this coming Monday. Excited. I had the 2009 model but it developed the dreaded steering notch problem.

at 80 mph it has a little vibration, its stable though. Id say a couple hours at 75 no problem, 80 is a little sketchy for a long time

No you can only lock the front wheel when the bike is stopped.
You must be going less than 5km/h or 6mph to engage the front wheel lock.
