  • My test ride with the Piaggio MP 3 Sport Advanced 500 three-wheel scooter with 43.5 hp and 47.5 Nm of torque. Is it really that powerful?
    How comfortable is it? What about the storage space?
    You can find the answers to these questions in the video.

    I find it very stable in the corners you have to spend more time on in it to get used to the feel of it and you need to use a healthy amount of throttle when taking off. It’s not for everyone and many can’t transition well at first because it feels heavy in the corners but you need to learn to trust it more. Very comfortable and stable.

    I think the real advantage of the MP3 is the tilt lock system. I think a lot of people who may have a disablilty would benifit with the MP3's tilt lock. My wife, who walks with a walker rides with me, she can climb on a three wheeled machine, where on a two wheeled machine would fall over. We have a $37,000 Harley DavidsonTriGlide and what I do not like is it doesn't lean, I miss the leaning of a motorcycle. WIth the MP3 I can lean and still stay upright at a stop. I could also save $27,000. Seems like the best of both worlds to me,.

    Most common scooter in Paris, because the A2 license is very hard😂

    I had a piaggio in Boston when I lived there, and I always felt perched on top of it. Made me uneasy for cornering I guess. I wonder if I had a motorcycle with something to straddle and squeeze and better ergonomics if I would feel more connected to it. I would like three wheels though so that would be the Niken

    Hi BenalRida, after riding this and the Tricity 300 which one would you say is the most stable in tight corners? I bought the Tricity 300 and the heavy front end feels very wobbly in slow tight corners. Im thinking i should have gone for the MP3 500 but Peugeot reliability is unknown to me compared to Yamaha

      Hmm, that is strange. I test rode the TriCity 300 three times already and personally I think the TriCity feels much better int he corners than any other 3-wheeler.

    I am thinking of buying one but i cant decide of what i should buy! Metropolis, MP3 500 or Tricity 300? Who so you think is the best? I have no experience on motorcykles exept mopeds 😅

      Hello, I would take the Yamaha TriCity 300. Unfortunately, I do not have a full test video, only a first ride, maybe you want to watch it as well?!? czcams.com/video/wdbJd-0JRW4/video.html

    muy buen video .
    yo estoy interesado en la piaggio mp3 300, pero voy a esperar al eicma 2021 para ver si piaggio cambia algo en el modelo mp3 300 2022 , por ejemplo el cuadro de los relojes, la llave electronica y la moderniza un poco .

      No han modernizado nada de nada. El mismo cuadro viejo, los mismo faros halógenos... lamentable Piaggio.

    Can someone please explain why the two front wheels?

    • @BenalRida
      @BenalRida  Před 2 lety +2

      Hello, as probably mentioned in the video, two wheels in the front give you more safety on the road. First of all, you have two disc brakes with very strong braking power, second, the performance and safety on slippery surfaces and roads with e.g. tram tracks is much higher. In addition you get a hydraulic standing assist system, which you can lock at very low speeds or when parking so the scooter won't tip over. Also, another benefit in most countries is the fact that you can ride these three-wheelers with your car license meaning you don't need a motorcycle or scooter license.

      @@BenalRida thank you my friend. I assumed the Can Am Spyder is the same but better due to the widened of the front tires. I am looking into them, but I know scooters are not equal to motorcycles even with the same cc.
