@Hanne Karin Bayer he never did use playback. But he sure he’ll lipsynced a lot. Half of the history tour set was him lipsyncing. I’m not knocking him though because out of the three tour world tours he’s been on as solo artist has had at least 70 tour dates across the continent. The Bad tour had 123 tour dates and sung live the entire time. Shoot that’s not even counting his work as apart of the Jackson five. I’m surprised he didn’t suffer from even more vocal damage.

As I watched her this time, I was trying to determine what sets her apart from others who have given a tribute to Janet by way of dance and song. That "IT" Factor is what sets her apart from other tributes: 1) awesome performance overall, 2) she was very engaging with Janet--she often looked over to her and smiled, and still remained focused, 3) she embodied the routine by making it her very own tribute to Janet with little subtleties--no overkill, and 4) she danced and sang with so much presence, by pouring her heart and soul into the tribute.
