The box isn't perfect...they don't use that system for back end stats . There's a better tracker that takes more time to process so they just use the quicker faster one to make the box on TV and the more advanced one to grade umps
Umpires should be replaced with a series of sensors, camera and lidar. Of course, if it was me I'd test out a game with a pitching machine (maybe no base stealing) that throws at speeds weighted to playing ability (like they do for weights on horses in thoroughbred racing.) So, a top player might get 105mph and a run of the mill player might get 85-95mph. If you have a live pitcher, stealing stays part of the game; if it's not a HR then I'd try for any viable steal.
good umpiring in the MLB???
Wow it’s almost like it always existed and all you watch is highlights about umpires making mistakes
They are pro umpires but every but every umpire still makes a few mistakes you prolly would flick with the ball coming in that fast

All of the other games had poor umpiring though. I admit that game two was impressive. So nice to have a legit and honest game like that
That was the best game called by an ump that I ever seen.
First umpire with eyes enters the dugout, soon the other umpires will blind him so he’s like the rest.
They’ve already implemented the robo zones 🙀
Even tho I’m a biased Astros fan, I can still say that this series was better than the past three world series played in October.
Rare to see a good ump
I'm confused the one at the bottom of the zone missed but he called it
The during game strike zone and pitch location dot aren’t always accurate

It’s where the pitch crosses the plate not where it’s caught
@@johnford9070 no way
@@mattreynolds981 yea what don’t you get about it then guy
Hold on is this the weekly things second channel
He positions himself right behind the catcher. More umps should follow his example.
hes literally better than robo ump
That's weird because that "dotted strike three" looked low to me. The whole ball was off the plate. This ain't little league 😂😂
stick to basketball or somewhere else, dont try to correct the robots LOL
@@renardamaro7519 even without it, it's clear as day off the plate

See this is what happens when you set the umpire calls to perfect. No missed calls what so ever
Finally they can see. Am I dreaming or what
Wish all umps where like that
Especially Hernandez
Have I seen this wrong is the box just where it ends up or does it just cross the box and end outside u know what I am saying
What is the upms name?

I’m confused, are you suggesting they get rid of pitchers?
Humans are humans you like them or you don't
