If we take the interruptions out, I appreciate Lois. The "just ask. You can't offend me" attitude. Just having the conversation and being open to asking questions out of genuine curiosity and NOT out of malice or hatred, or anything else. Just purely "I want to know because I want to understand" and the response being "don't worry about how you say it. Just ask in the best way that you can" - can we have more of this?
One of the Satanists Rafael contradicted himself heavily about halfway through. He said to help others but then a few sentences later said that you must care for yourself because no one else will care for you. It can’t be both if you want to be there for others and others want to be there for others that help will spread as long as they want to keep helping…..even satanists want love but don’t fully understand the concept of it…..
I'm not a Satanist but maybe what he tried to say is that you have to help yourself first before you're able to help others. At least I think that you're not able to be helpful when you yourself have problems, for example you can't lend someone a hand to get up when you yourself are on the ground unable to get up. You know what I mean?
Also I think you have to know your own boundaries and not be a doormat for anyone to use for "help".
I think it is great to help others if you're able to do so and if you do it because you really want to not because you feel obligated to do so.
Helping others and helping yourself aren’t exclusive. You can do both… either is better than waiting for some mythical being to intervene rather than doing for yourself and others.
