They’re not actually legal, but the problem is that mobile game ads aren’t exactly the FTC’s top priority, so these games just keep getting away with blatantly false advertising because no one bothers to stop them
my theory for the polysphere add is that they're hoping you fullscreen it and think the texts are from your ex, thereby making you click on the screen and sending you to the app store page.
