The reason why I watch your videos is 20% of what you are working on and 80% you and your personality.
This
You are one of the content creators that I recommend to moms with daughters. There is a 7 year old girl in North-west Canada that loves watching you work on cars. How many car channels seek that market?
Please don't stop being you. You are the most authentic and awesome car youtuber.
I think your videos are popular, and will continue to be popular, *because* you take the time to show all the struggles and interesting details of restoration. I, personally, vibe with your choice of projects a lot. I *love* the Supra restos. You rock. You will continue to rock. We think you're awesome.
Keep on working you are wonderful what you do>
Sarah, I've watched your channel for years specifically because of your attention to detail and how you don't want to rush things. I know I'm not the only one. Some say that in order for a channel to grow, you need to "go where the audience is" but I think that once you reach a certain size, you can actually do the opposite. You said it yourself, a lot of big automotive channels move towards cutting corners or trying to get projects done faster. I think that's an opportunity for you to do the opposite -- bring people in by showing how things are done the right way. Is it glamorous or the most lucrative? No, but it's honest work and something you can be proud of.
You got to nearly 600k subscribers by being you. Honest, funny, intelligent, OCD and determined. Please don't let Google change that.
Yeah, fac the algorithm.
@@chemapc It seems like the natural order of things if a channel gets a huge number of subscribers, the "views" even a month after an upload are a fraction of the subscribers with only a few perhaps being "breakouts" higher. As long as the content is great though, any new or existing subscribers will probably go on a binge-watching spree through the old ones/playlists too.
Rotor slots indicate they should be on opposite sides, Sarah, you should swap them
*by hiding who they really are and not being transparent about his past*
@@bg710elaborate?
You have over 578,000 subscribers! Don't ever worry that you are too niche or quirky, since we all love you the way you are.
Your blend of humor, personality, skills and attention to details make you unique
Don’t change.
We're all here because we like you. Don't ever feel like you need to change anything unless it's a change YOU want to make.
Well said my friend
That's a nice sentiment, but remember, when videos like this come up, it's usually because the creator is seeing trends in the CZcams Studio data that suggest otherwise. The only way they can sustain ignoring those trends is to a) bet on an algorithmic tweak to save the day b) have some kind of off-platform product/income c) scale back production and boost efficienies to make current viewership sustainable.
If growth is what they want, they'll have to risk some change or look into on and off platform promotion options, which can be a money pit.
My sentiments exactly as that of many others here. I geek out on every video as the process and journey is as important as the final outcome. You are one of the best You Tubers out there!! If you were to choose, it’s ok to be a little commercial with the channel, even Buddha talked about life and speaks about being commercial as far as it is ethical, real and true to your values. How that translates to your channel is what you need to answer for yourself. It’s fine to evaluate and review where you are. There are a few other You Tubers that I feel I feel manage to have a healthy balance between content and being commercial, Alex Palameri is one, Gears and Gasoline is another, I like Vtuned, Goonzsquad has become too commercial, I like Matt Ross too. Nevertheless, ❤ your content, rock on!!
You got to half a million by just being you. You'll hit a million by just being you. Absolutely one of the best channels on CZcams.
In the world of Mr. Beast, Tik Tok, and 2 minute attention spans...The fact that you have made it this far doing these very detailed (and quirky) builds is extremely impressive. You have made it this far by being YOU. BLAZE THAT PATH SISTER!
It's not that impressive 😂 especially when your a extremely attractive woman working on cars and trucks on a youtube channel... 🥲 I would be more surprised if it didn't succeed this far... 😂
I agree. It's actually kinda scary the attention spans some people have now. It's sad really.
I think we all reach a point in our lives when we see others around us progressing while we're standing still and it makes us feel like we're failing. But really we need only concern ourselves with what makes us happy. For a lot of people, achievement IS what makes them happy and that's fair enough, but if you're not wired that way, don't measure yourself against other people's goals. Just march to the beat of your own drum.
I 2nd that amen
Well said Tom, well said!
Remain exactly as you are. That's why all your real fans are here
Not sure about the rest but I like your channel because you’re not like everyone else. Plus you’re a detailing phenom. Totally worth watching.
We watch your content for you. You could probably keep us entertained changing the oil in the lawn mower. Keep doing what you're doing.
A lawn mower in Arizona is a rock chucking death machine lol
@@SarahnTuned now there's a video idea!
You're playing the long game and that's great. The details you provide keep us coming back so don't change!
We watch Sara because you are very gifted, fun and quirky.
Don't stop.
What Davec said....
I love your work ethic, I wish I was half as motivated as you are...
Tell me about it, it's taken me 4 years to do boot floor, inner and outer sills and front valance on a 105 Series '72 Alfa.
And I'm a pretty handy welder and I have access to a friends very well equipped workshop.
😢
No doubt!!
Agreed
Sometimes I watch Sarah to get my motivation up to work on my own project car.
Time is the inverse of money - when we've got the money to work on our toys, we're usually to busy to get to them!
You floors Marcus, my 67 Valiant Safari's A-Pillars..... I need a body jig.
I LOVE YOU SARAH! Just the way you are. I love your various cars, and your POV videos, it is what makes you interesting. DO Not Change!
I have been a female car hobbiest for 35 years Something ADHD doesn't make easy. You are badass and funny and very inspirational even to an old lady like myself who has been doing her own repairs since the late 1980's
You show the real work that actually goes into these projects and we need more people like that
You know when your audience is growing when we get a new show notification, sit down to watch and my wife says “Hey it’s Sarah!”
The projects.
The cars.
The editing.
The humour.
The production
The unique way that you bring all of the these together makes you one of the best!
I've been working on cars for 55 years and still find your videos interesting and fun to watch. They can teach people who aren't so mechanically minded how to attack things, what to look for and using correct tools for the job (many people wouldn't know some of the tools exist and just resort to hammers). If you like doing what you are doing and can afford to keep doing it, - keep doing it. Watching from down here in NZ.
That's why we love you Sarah, because there is no one like you that brings such detail and diversity to CZcams.. Have faith in yourself, you've came too far to go back.. I appreciate your channel so much, watch every episode too.. Hang in there girl! :D
Always look forward to your uploads. Hard to find someone who is informative and funny as Sarah.
@@KutWriteShe honestly could be a A list actress easily…
@@trevin1691At her height? Most leading men would need ladders for dialog :D
Also, most of them couldn't reach far enough in to a chassis or engine bay to spin the spanners on half the things Sarah does.
We love you just as you are...
Don't ever change
And never apologize for the way you do things!😊 The reason i look forward and enjoy every video is because how you do things. Do it perfect or not at all is the way to go, can't stand channels that just trow on parts without at least cleaning the surrounding area😂
Your followers love what you do. And yes, you could outsource video editing and bring in crew, but it more matters about what you want to do. And nice to see the Ranger again ! Its the reason why I started following you.
As encouragement, your vehicle reviews are the absolute best, you know cars: mechanically, design wise, how they drive and handle, how to fix them, and you’re not afraid of getting your hands dirty, and best of all you really love cars, all kinds, and it shows. I gave up on the CZcams reviews from dealer nerds, marketing hacks, monotone AIs, and even grumpy mechanics in overalls who concentrate on narrow topics. Your reviews are full spectrum and entertaining! And your sense of humor rocks! Be confident you have an army of loyal subscribers.
Thank you for Not being mainstream!
Your content is unique and refreshing. I actually caught myself say "Flapper-doodle" at Home depot describing a toilet flapper...
Keep being you and we will keep watching and supporting.
Sarah, we're here because we like your weird projects, the awesome edits and your quirky humor, please keep being you!
Stay the way you are. This is what makes your channel unique and amazing.
Sarah, This is the only channel where I watch all the videos from start to finish without skipping any parts.
We watch your content because of what you do and how you do it, never change as you are unique
Don't ever stop being you, you're real with no bs and a great quirky sense of humor . Also, my OCD can live vicariously through you 😊😊
Do NOT change what you do or the way you do it. It’s nice to see that you take the time to do it right and that don’t cut corners just to pump out another video. Keep up the great work!
This is the kind of content I LOVE. Down to earth Auto Restoration. I've learned a LOT as I restore my 2 VW Beetles & a 1932 Ford :)
Be genuine, be yourself, that's why we keep coming back
You succeed because you are unique as a CZcams presenter, Sarah I love your stuff keep making it, and don’t change! I have already bought two cars based on your recommendations… A Toyota Tacoma, and a Toyota 4Runner…
I honestly don’t understand how anyone could become so knowledgeable about such minute things like the “cold start tuning”… you’re crazy smart.
I can only wish I could find a mechanic with such attention to detail. You are amazing. Don't give up. Please!
Don't second guess yourself. You are doing amazing and we love everything you do. You're at 575K That's nothing to sneeze at.
Sarah, you have a rare talent for making the most mundane details of what you're working on fun and fascinating. Add in the granularity of your knowledge of so many of those details (and your total honesty whenever you DON'T know them) and you've got one of the most engaging styles of presentation of any content creator on CZcams. Seriously, you could apply your style to any number of subjects and it would be fun to watch. Ever considered branching out into other areas of interest?
@4 minutes is why I love to watch Sarah-n-Tuned ! Thanks for the content !
Thanks for showing real life! So many people show aftermarket parts being installed on their cars but never that you end up goi g through three of them in the first year!
Sarah please don’t stop your content it’s been a life changing journey watching you for 5 years
Your work ethic, attention to detail, quirky humor, fun editing, and we learn things... and much more is why I personally watch. The cars are a bonus.
This truck was my personal favourite project series. I have an older car myself and I am not going to change it for any reason. I too have trouble sourcing components. You are a source of inspiration and motivation
I think you're Great and Doing just Fine! No worries! You will succeed more.
We watch you just because you do what you do the way you do.
After years of watching automotive youtube and following almost all of the channels at some point or another, your channel is the only one I watch with any consistency anymore - please keep being you and putting out the content that you want to put out - I know I'm not the only one who feels this way!
Exactly! I pass on a lot of the “others” they just don’t have Sarah and her personality…
Your videos are a breath of fresh air compared to the over produced car shows. Feels like I'm hanging out with a buddy at their garage. Keep being yourself!
I truly appreciate your style and choices. Keep being who you are.
You have almost 600K subscribers. Theres is no way people aren't interested in what you do. Like you said, "quality over quantity." Your work ethic is what got you this far and will continue to take you farther. Keep on doing you! ❤
Your non traditional weird car ness is what draws us in! Don’t second guess a damn thing. Your content is plenty creative and interesting as F. We all appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us dreamers.
Love your content. You showing all the details, mistakes, lessons learned..that’s what no one else does. Most car enthusiasts can’t stand these shows where everything goes perfectly..cause it never does in real life! Keep doing what you’re doing!!
As a former Ford, Lincoln-Mercury mechanic, I'm truly impressed with your Ranger project. It looks showroom fresh! Those OEM parts must have been hard to find and expensive. Bravo 👏
You are the best...you put your heart and soul into everything you do... that's why we will never leave you!
@nhsamurai8733 - agreed - NEVER.
Never quit the way you do… the things you think incidental, time consuming & awkward is why I watch
"Donor" , not "doner" I appreciate the real world feel on your videos, you are genuine!
Please don't ever stop !! I hope that the size of your viewership doesn't make that necessary. I tell everybody I know about you ! You're the best !!!
Your editing and your thoughts during the filming is right on. I am 57 been working on cars/ motorcycles forever. You have an old wonderful soul that I can relate to full of sarcasm and positivity! Keep it up. Don't change your content.
I like how you phrased that, I think you nailed it when you say, "an old wonderful soul"! 👍👍🙏🙏😄😄
We love you Sarah, just do you!
Into weird cars? Heck, you are working with the kind of cars that are accessible to regular folks.
I can't speak for growth, but your content is always a pleasure to watch. Reviews, mods, goofs, it is all fun to watch!
Over half a million subscribers! You are awesome! There is no one like you up here on the internets!
I love this channel. It’s so real, it’s very unique. I believe it appeals to millions
I'd watch Sarah fix a vacuum cleaner. Keep putting out content that makes you happy, I'm here for it. The Metal On/Off was hilarious.
I learn more from your channel than like 95% of the other ones out there, absolutely love everything you do
Ahhhhh love that era Supra! I drove one of those in high school while helping my buddy’s uncle move cars to a car event. One of the best cars I ever drove, topping even a late ‘90’s Corvette and late ‘90’s(?) Mitsu 3000GT!
Stay true to yourself and the fans will follow!
We are huge fans of your abilities, personality and humor. Please keep ‘em coming.
One of the many things I like about Sarah's content is I learn a lot from her. The fact that she's working on these projects alone most of the time really helps to see her process for car builds. I've been following Sarah since she got Mr. Dos and small Sarah was in the mix. And it's been fun, entertaining, and educational. But if Sarah decides to mix things up with her content, I'm here for it. :)
Been here about as long. Saw comments on other channels about Sarah doing innuendo for the views, or outfits for the views, two videos later was laughing my arse off, and could see the shirts and shorts were more about the daily heat cycle of Sarah's location, and wearing stuff that doesn't catch on car parts when working. Sarah's and KSR's video are also usually just the right length to watch while at lunch break at work, and you'll never have a co-worker or customer accidently overhear bad language from either.
@@PiDsPagePrototypes I'll admit that Sarah's a looker, but she's a sweetheart who genuinely strives to do things the right way.
Sarah, don’t quit what you’re doing, please! Us guys in the UK love your videos and your skills, there’s no one like you and we love you over here!
It's like "Half a million people came to you because they like what you do, so, change what you do!"
Nope.
Love every build I've seen you do.
First, Sarah is the best break from the everyday grind. I never miss a video.
@0:21 Lol...I love Sarah's innuendos!! :)
Who else talks about rear anti-sway bars while wearing daisy dukes?
I try to keep my mind on the car, but often fail.
Keep doing you!
Your viewers appreciate your videos because it’s not mainstream. Thanks for your work.
Take care and many blessings!
I'm not that into cars and I'm just enjoying the channel as whole. Personality, style, presentation, filming, editing, flow, all making a great youtube content combo. And I might be even learning a thing or two!
Sarah, you are pretty much the only person I watch for car builds and reviews. I appreciate the love and dedication you put into your work. You are so genuine and real, drama free, and funny to boot. I hope you never change what you do or how you do it.
Aging Wheels, Bad Obsession Motorsport, Rich Rebuilds and Hubnut's videos are kind of in that same niche. Although if their sense of humor or delivery is your cup of tea is of course a different story.
what it is - your hands-on skill and commitment to quality are inspiring, and add credibility and relatability to your reviews and perspectives.. You might find you need to remind us that you're an acquired taste, but hope you don't mind us reminding you that many of us have appreciated and followed the content for a long time, and are looking forward to many more penguins in the future.
You got almost 600k of us to subscribe because we already like your content. I see it all the time when small channels make changes to appeal to the mainstream and lose their core audience.
I love what you do, you're the best auto restorationist I've ever seen and that's coming from someone that been working on cars like you since I was 16 years old, I'm 61 now and I'm still not finished= too many rigs!
Quality over quantity. Keep being yourself and keep doing what you love. You'll always have those of us who will have your back.
Every Gram's truck video is more than excellent!
I for 1 love what you do. The cars are interesting, the humor is funny and the quality is beyond reproach.
Sometimes a laptop, sometimes a big smart TV, never a phone. Excellent video. :)
Please never change Sarah.
Your knowledge, wit, editing style, attention to detail, and self deprecating humour is so incredibly infectuous that I'm surprised your subscription numbers are not twice or more. Thank you for being a bit out there with the rest of us. We are legion.
So, for many of us, it's the details that makes us love your channel. Ya know, the stuff other channels skip over. I hope you can keep having fun and also make enough money to keep this all going for a long time to come.
You be you and we will watch you. Simple.
i'm not the a super regular viewer of your channel, but i do really enjoy and respect your level of detail in the things you do, it's truly like no other and it makes your content unique!
Need more people like dr Sarah !!!
Hope you are hanging in there 🙏 just the greatest channel 😊and you’re the hardest working creator for sure 👍
Sarah your corkiness is why I watch your channel. The odd cars and your attention to detail is a blessing and I love your personality and the funny innuendos (dirty mind) lol. Plus you're very pretty and nice to look at while you're doing your thing. And as a ex-mechanic I know the struggles you deal with on the cars and trucks. I have great respect for your talent and abilities. Keep up the great work 😊
I first came across your videos while looking for car reviews. Later, I found myself binge watching your project car videos. It's been a while, and I now realize I'm simply a fan of you doing what you do. Keep doing what you love doing, it works, I promise.
It’s not that we are not interested in what you are doing, we are interested in who you are. You and your content are amazing!! ❤❤❤
Your videos are nice because they're actually technical with little tips. There's a pile of people who upped the production value and excitement, but their videos are like ... Sponsored part delivery + montage install + stall on test drive + maybe go to the drag strip or dyno. The technical problem solving is way better. That's basically you and maybe legit street cars.
Heat cycling the new headers was always my favorite part of the install process. 😌👌🏻
I don't know how you can reach a wider audience either. I have an instagram account that have had around 1 k followers for over a year now. But I love this channel and your humour and I'm grateful that you share every step. I may not be into your "obsession" with cleaning, but I usually "like" the videos and I do learn from them.
You have so much integrity as a creator and are one of the few that I can look back years and still feel the content has stayed just as genuine! Also no other creator in this field has halfway decent music which is underrated when it’s 80% of most videos
The editing is killing it this episode!!
Frankly, most creators would kill for 500K+ subscribers. Just do what you do and be who you are and see where things go. Props for just putting yourself out there!
The people have spoken. Just be you! Only thing I can say is don’t burn yourself out. Your channel is awesome!!
