It feels like it doesen't need color to be magnificent too..
I really liked how this character introduced new characters and places, specially since they had such unique personalities, Tepaste being quite interesting. That an how the part of the story connected with the surface keeps getting more and more explored, specially how both on the birthday curse before and now with this child song we can see that these types of elements might be associated somehow to what is happening to the Abyss at the moment, or at least they talk about certain elements that will happen. I can't wait to see how this will continue, specially considering how earlier Akihito announced the continuation of this chapter. As always really enjoyed your work, really liked some of the panneling and the song choices.
Right!? There is so much happening all at once in this chapter that it opens up a realm of possibility. It was also nice getting some clarity on questions almost immediately after the last chapter. Too many questions can overload readers so it was nice that while we got more questions, we got plenty of answers as well!

What happens inside the abyss is just as interesting as what happens on the outside. I would love a spin off series about the daily life of the workers inside the avalanche pub. It was such an interesting and unique setting!

12:18 Holy shit, that seems a pod similar on the 5th layer where Bondrewd guarded on Ido front, must be the gateway Cravali and tepaste used to illegally enter the 6th layer and also 12:36 Peijin already died on Chapter 27 which means this is a current scenario is a flashback and could be the reason why there are some insect on the flower field that shouldn't be belong on the 4th layer. That was the same time before Reg and Riko met Bondrewd on Ido front.
10:55 Note that Gyarike was here on this dwelve expedition which means currently Habolg could already be dead. Reg met Gyarike on the flower field burning the bodies of the nest and this could only means the bodies of all delvers that joined on this expedition.
15:09 Cravali must have known anything about those insect given he's worried about his insect repellent. He must have doomed the whole delving team or just knows what going to happen.

Also thanks for establishing what chapter Peijin was from. I recalled the name but for the life of me, I couldn't remember when he was mentioned in the series (I knew he was affiliated with the Umbra Hands but I couldn't recall how). The insect repellent was such a small detail that I'm glad you didn't overlook, it would be insanely cool if that was somehow connected to the Amaranthine-Deceptors that found their way too the flower garden despite being from a lower depth in the abyss. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Cravali's whole expedition is somehow connected to the various creatures of the abyss appearing in layers they were never meant to (ie. The Crimson Splitjaw in the first layer and the Amaranthine-Deceptors in the lower parts of the fourth).
@@TheMickellPickell Personally I like the idea that there's a migration among the creatures of the Abyss because they can dimly sense that something big (the 2000 year cycle) is brewing in the 7th layer. Interesting ideas above though and a pod that connects the 2nd layer to the 6th would be great in terms of getting characters down there at a pinch (let's face it we NEED Ozen to be heavily in the mix come the finale :D). More Ozen!
I'll throw a totally random theory out there too just for fun. Don't laugh and point now, but what if... the Abyss itself was once a person? Hell, we've seen a little girl become a village so maybe it's not so far fetched. No reason to think that of course and lord knows what it would mean for the story and there's a 99.999999999% chance it's laughably wrong, but if it turns out to be right I can come back some day and say, "Aha! I knew it!" XD

Maybe, Tapasuté and Nishagora got over their differences and Tapasuté is now part of the Curse Fleet. How is Cravali connect to Hariyomari's song and what exactly did he do in the second layer that got the entire expedition worked up?

Akihito did confirm in the press conference from 6 months ago that he had plans on revisiting bonedrewd down the storyline again so we will definitely get some more answers in the distant future!
It would be really cool if at the very bottom of the Abyss is a hidden artifact no one has found which is a sphere you climb inside and it drops down in the pitch black of space and then eventually you see clouds and then slowly you descend back to Orth.
That would be a nice way to wrap up the series 🥲 but considering Akihito’s work…I think we are looking at a more brutal ending…

So this is the first time where an arc kinda starts with a flashback. Before the flashbacks were either narrated between two characters or in-between climactic moments, but usually near the end of an arc. Does anyone else think that the anime's current direction (cuz akihito for sure saw the anime before any of us) influenced the writing for this arc?
Yeah I don’t doubt that. I remember Akihito mentioned in the panel from last year that he wished he had wrote the first chapter of made in abyss like the anime had. Wouldn’t be surprised if, when working with the writing team for this new season, he picked up some more narrative techniques.

This chapter had it all, good lore, Cravali is a Chad, Tepasté hits more buttons than I'd like to admit, interesting set up for future plot points and the best punch in the chin I've ever seen.

There was talk in the made in abyss conference from last year about how the "White Whistles" don't play by the rules. Clearly Bondrewd knows about it but it makes you wonder if Wazukyan and Srajo know about it and if they do, what other sinister secrets could they be hiding!
You said that shadow thing at around the 12 minute mark was familiar in some other video. What do you think it is?
If you're talking about the podcast video on Fuminsho's video, the stimulus that I referenced was actually that small shrine of name-tags at about 12:55. As we know, those name tags belong to delvers/inhabitants of Orth, as we have seen in both the first season and the newest the very design of those name-tags being associated with people who live alongside or venture into the abyss.
For a large shrine of them to all be gathered in one place, specifically this HUGE secret operation in the second layer, seems incredibly suspicious.
Why would those who are involved in this illegal excavation, leave evidence of their crime there? Cravali clearly knew that it wouldn't be long until people caught onto their delving operation. Those tags, just irked my curiosity.

Thats a genuinely great question. If I didn't a work full time job, I could easily get a chapter out within 1-2 weeks max. However due to my very limited freetime, I can only spend up to 5 hours a day working on it. So it roughly takes about 3 - 4 weeks of solid editing 😅

If you're talking about the guy in the middle at 2:24, I'm pretty sure that man isn't the same person from the boat. That delver only ever appeared in episode 12 of the first season of Made In Abyss as a delver who was in danger to the Orb Piercer and was saved by Reg.
Of if you're talking about the man on the right at 2:27, I'm pretty sure that man also isn't the same person form the boat. That guy's name is Zapo, who is part of Ozen's Brigands.
