Thank you. That's what I kept saying...they look like glorified camping chairs. You've convinced me that this isn't for me....more so because if the covers move that much...my boys are gonna make this couch look like something I found on the curb...and at that price point. No thank you.

Thank you for making this video! I was really on the fence about buying one of these (a big 5-piece sectional) and think I am finally deciding not to for many of the reasons you've talked about, such as the overall "frumpy" camping chair/futon vibe as well as the cost for what you're actually getting. I appreciate your honesty and especially the comparison to a similarly priced couch from somewhere like Ashley that is a common, affordable furniture store.

❤❤excellent review thank you. I’m on the fence. I need washable because of my pets! So something like the Ashley sofa won’t work - so I’m thinking this might be a good sofa, the extra cost may be worth it because it can be washed completely if needed. I’m interested in how the return goes though because I’d like to try it before making a final decision. Thanks again for an amazing review!!!

Although I was on the fence about this sofa, I love the fact that this is as light as it is, and well in order to get lightweight sofa it has to be made this way. I also love the fact you can take this entire thing apart and fold it, pretty easy to move, simple and anyone can do it and on top of it all, wash it as I have 2 dogs and I live in the country, so having something like this is a must. I absolutely hate the clunky oversize ugly looking sofas that gives you absolutely no way to rearrange your family room how you see fit. I don't like the price, but these days you can't always have both good affordable price and a sofa that makes sense.

I have been looking for a chair & ottoman to replace an Ashley love seat. This brand has been on my radar due to its washability and OEKO-TEX certification. I'm going to purchase the deluxe foam and add the additional Elevate Comfort Layer. I was really happy to see you were pleased with the fabric!
It should be noted that the velcro straps to hold the pieces together are placed on the horizontal bars, near the floor. Not the front, vertical bars. It would be easy to add cable ties to cinch the pieces together.

The fabric is really nice I think you will like it! I should have shown what I was talking about with the velcro straps since it's difficult to explain, but I couldn't get the cover to fit nicely once I put the velcro straps on? thanks for this - so much better than the company offers up for instructions - question though - when putting the seat cushions in the slip covers do you line up the zippers - I can't get the seat cushions to fit into the slip covers! help!! thanks
It was difficult getting the seat cushions in the covers. I felt like the zipper was going to break when trying to zip it up! I just pulled each side of the zipper together tightly and then forced the zipper to close. It looked fine once zipped. Don't be afraid to force it! I hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching! 😃

I ended up returning it! They actually received it yesterday so I'm now waiting on my refund. I will add to the video description about the return process once my return is complete. At the end of the day I did like the sofa, but I just didn't feel like it was worth the cost. Let me know if you have any more questions I'm happy to help!

Charging $2k-$12k for something designed this way, is absolute robbery. Someone needs to file an antitrust suit against these people for charging that much to manufacture and sell a folding camp-chair couch. Absolutely unreal.

I have been waiting for a review like this. Have you ended up returning it? Would you recommend this couch for a bigger person? I worry that the platform you velcro to the structure would be weak.
Hi! I did end up returning it! Just dropped it off at FedEx today. It really was comfortable for me but I'm 5'4. My husband is 6'3 and the back was too low for him. But I never felt the metal bars at all. It seemed quite sturdy but I didn't like how the pieces attached to each other will velcro straps. I think with continued use they would shift and come loose. I had the relaxed blend. Sorry I forgot to mention that in the video! The Deluxe costs a bit more. I found the Relaxed Blend to be quite comfortable. I liked that you sink into it. I hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching! 😃
Thak you for your review. I've been considering purchasing this primarily since it is an afordable non toxic couch and it looks nice. Did you get the relaxed or deluxe blend cushions? And do they hold their shape? Also, does it seem like a small pet could get hurt from the bars if they try to rub against the bottom of couch?
I got the relaxed blend. I only tested it for a week before deciding to return it. During a week's time, it held its shape just fine but with more use I'm not sure. You can definitely feel the bars at the bottom of the sofa, but I don't think a small pet could get hurt. I decided to return it not because of comfort (it is really comfortable!) but because I think it costs too much for what it is. I hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching! 😃

The cushions are a solid foam pad mixed with broken pieces of foam. The sofa I bought had the Relaxed Blend cushions. You can also choose the Deluxe Blend which is memory foam (it does cost more). Thank you so much for watching! 😃

I am wondering if ypu could feel the bars if you sat on the crack between 2 cushions. Like if you had 3 people on that couch.
I never felt the bar, but I think you would feel it if you sat in crack area especially if you were trying to fit 3 people. Thanks so much for watching! 😃

What filler did you get? There are 2 options.

is the filling memory foam
There are 2 types of filling - Relaxed Blend & Deluxe Blend. Relaxed is a foam pad with pieces of foam. Deluxe is memory foam. I ordered the Relaxed which is less expensive. I found it to be really comfortable! Thanks so much for watching! 😃

I ordered this before I saw this video. The biggest disappointment for me is that the slipcovers slip on the frame SO MUCH!! It's so hard to keep it looking straight and nice! I wish I could return it! Anybody know any hacks on how to keep the slipcovers straight?
I agree! I did not like how the cover shifted so much and made it look sloppy. I don't know of a fix?? They should make the cover fit much tighter so it's not an issue! Thanks so much for watching! 😃
Could you slice pool noodles lengthwise to cover and pad the bars?
Ashley furniture held together with staples. Will not last especially if you are heavier. Anabei is the most sturdy I’ve ever had.
