    Great video/review. Thank you once again for taking the time to do this for us.

    Thanks for the video. I was running the sound for an outdoor show last night and they had 4 T8s stacked on each of the two DVA S30 subs (12,000W total). Even though the board was a low-end Behringer X32, the dB rig responded very well. I came here to find out a bit more about this range of line arrays and your opinion confirms my first impression.

    I have no doubts about the sound quality, but I would like you gave your technical specifications of the drivers, is a bit hard to believe that these small drivers handle high power, especially for the super price, I think it would be good if you explain with more technical information, I like to learn, thanks

    Have you looked at the event series by DAS Audio? Great wooden boxes with dual 8 and 10 inch drivers. Looking into these T8 and I can't justify the cost when the DAS Audio Event 210A is at about $2300.

      @trinityprosound  Před 8 lety +1

      +NOLA Sound Training Channel No, we are not DAS dealers...I have had many customers sell their DAS systems to buy the dB & RCF systems as they felt it has better output and sound quality

    Great video! From clarity's prospective, which one is the best? T12 vs. T8 vs. T4? What are the main differences of these three line array?

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  Před 9 lety

      Apache Cai The T12 is best . Amazing low end and the dual 6.5 midrange allow this box to punch through the mid range with amazing results

      Not sure...maybe cost. Look at the RCF Ayra line, we use for home theatre and they sound great !

    The price its still high but not absurd like other line arrays , why they dont make the passive version it will be even lighter and will have half of the price perhaps it will sell very well much better than those active . This amp its very light don't know if has much power looks like an car audio amp .

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  Před 8 lety +3

      +Nick Name in comparison to other mfr. this box is not very expensive at all for the features and SPL performance. You are looking at a Digital Amp with all on board processing , power supplies, switch mode and you can use it anywhere in the world...do some research on pro audio amps and lines arrays , you will find that competing lines are 3-4 times the cost.

    To buy 2 per side t8 or t12 on hand ?. I have to choose between these two alternatives. Which one is the best?

      trinityprosound ..and with one t12 by hand you can work?

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  Před 9 lety +1

      by itself, no, it is a 10 degree box in the vertical and only people in the 10 degree vertical coverage area will really get the full impact of the box and audio . you need really 4 boxes per side to be able to splay each a few degrees for proper vertical coverage.

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  Před 9 lety

      one per side is not going to do you any good. these are line array and you will need at least 3 per side even to start on a pole mount accessory for them...they work best with more than 5 per side at an event, flown is better , ground stack is ok, but you would need to take care as they would be top heavy.

      +Tristan Jeno We are not getting into the technical of what the box can do for our videos, that is left to the spec sheets and users. We are giving an overview of the box, construction of the box and what the mfr. has done for each box in our videos, we are not a technical school or giving you technical knowledge, that comes at a price, and we charge for that in seminars, etc. There are many good sources of reading material on the internet and published that explains theory and use of line array, trap boxes, coverage, speaker efficiency and the like, our videos are not going to cover schooling, that is up to you and how committed you are to learn.

    Not impressed at all with the box components( mid & bass) they seem not premium grade.

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  Před 6 lety

      They are premium RCF drivers, neo mid and neo HF and NEO LF, typical to what they put in the RCF TTL33A's - for their size they are quite a power speaker and do what they are intended to do in the box. If you have not heard them you should, your impression will be altered...

  • @32djice

    the foam padding on the cage is to softern the sound sorry to say but this guy has no idear if he did he would not stall

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  Před 8 lety +5

      The foam is NOT FOR SOFTENING the sound...are you an idiot. The foam is to protect the speaker from dust and water and to give it a better look to hide the drivers to produce a more professional looking box. Please do your homework before commenting...i really don't have any patience for newbies that don't know what they are remotely talking about.

    • @32djice
      @32djice Před 8 lety +1

      sorry to tell you am not a idiot i have been in music for some time now and if you take the foam from the case you will find that the sound is not the same the foam is not to keep the dust out or water like i have said the foam is to make the sound soft you need to look in to it more if you go in to a record studio and your see a soft foam just next to the mic and your see it inside the mic it is the same for a speaker make's sound soft and as for the video you got on here the guy has no idear on what is going on if he did would speak all the way with out erm and has to stop then start speaking again so you need to look in to it more and home work sure thats why i am in to music i.e a dj and all large speeker's i have delt with do not use foam so you do not have a clue on what your talking about so get your facts right !!! been a dj for over 25 year's and am 40 now this video is talking trash it take's the piss

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  Před 8 lety +8

      Yes you are an idiot as the foam is not in the boxes or speakers to alter the sound. you being a DJ says it all, you are not a sound professional. Great that you have been in music for so long, but you would think you would have learned more by now. The foam is mics is to protect the element from dust and spit ,not to alter the sound. What rock did you crawl from under ? I think as other read your explanation and comments you are going to be for a real learning lesson in pro audio. I have been in audio much more than you, and you are the first one EVER that has come up with this silly notion that the foam is there to alter the sound..Geeeeez. Keep on DJ'ing and stay out of pro sound, thanks .

    • @felipousismix
      @felipousismix Před 7 lety +1

      Dude: you don't know what you are talking about, really. What would be the purpose to decrease the implosive sounds from the box?

    • @rockaround71
      @rockaround71 Před 7 lety +2

      Haha, are you serious? You obviously don´t know what you are talking about. The guy in the video is absolutely correct. The foam on the grill is there to protect the speakers from dust, and has no effect on the sound. It´s not the same kind of foam you´ll find on the walls in studios. The foam inside a microphone has the same function, to protect it from dust and moisture (spit).
      The fact that you´re a DJ doesn´t mean you know how sound works, DJs rarely do. Your post proves that ;-)
