    OMG how they matched the sound frequency of the song . The phase cancelation was absolutly amazing with the piece of foam in front of the 10" driver and the plastic thing inside HF horn . this is a piece of genius sound-design . thanx for the vid

    You need to do a video of the vio sub and the new video point source and the vio 208

    Hi John. The overall output and sound quality can be compared to the DVA T12 and HDL20 from RCF? Or it is a step up and hitting the TTL33a zone?

      @trinityprosound Před 7 lety +4

      I think smooth as T12 for sure, and better sounding IMO than HDL20. Close to TT33, and lots of output from the 900 watts on board.

      Hi Dobix, The L210s are head and shoulders above both by both measures. In the demo I attended, the T12 became "stressed' sounding when pushed. In larger quantities, the HDL20s are a little better than the T12, but lack the smoothness and volume of the L210s and, of course, the utility of RDNet control. The L210s get REALLY loud without any notable distortion or stress and the wood boxes put it in another class from the HDLs. The video does not show the phase response which is also very good.

      Rcf hdl20 superior a t12? eso jamás.

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound Před 6 lety +1

      NO. The T12 is a 3 way box and much more musical sounding to us than 2 way HDL20. T12 has more power but similar max SPL. The 3 way design of the T12 IMO allows better representation of the mid frequencies in the dual 6.5" mid range drivers. i will take a 3 way box any day over a comparable 2 way producing similar SPL levels. The db Tech VIO and the HDL30 change all that...but that is another long story...

    Are the VIO subs any good? They're a horn loaded design (at least the single 18 is) so that's pretty interesting. I think RCF is getting ready to release a new 9004-as sub as well. So many good Italian products being dropped right now it's hard to choose haha
    /Nice review

      I have not heard them but from what others are saying they are awesome. Hoping to hear them soon...all of the Italian speaker mfr. are really on a roll !

      All the db technology products are RCF drivers , but the genius masterpiece is in the amplifiers board "crossovers/dsps/phases/etc" and they did a wonderfull job. They push the RCF drivers so far than the creators.

    in comparison with T12, who is the winner? does it make sense to go from T12 to VIO L210?

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound Před 5 lety

      If you can afford VIO210 it is an amazing speaker and smooth in a wooden enclosure. One of the best 2 way boxes i have heard. The T12 is good but a wee harsh on the high end, which can be eq'd down 3-4 db...the VIO 210 is just smooth...

      trinityprosound I used to do eqing at about 3,5k down about 2-3 dB, I was thinking about using 3 band parametric compression, so it will automaticali reduce sharp sound at high levels. Will see what brings new year, maybe we will update to the vio

      none, 1 piece will not work have to have line of 5+ for any decent rig. these are big boy toys and takes a significant system to do them justice and provide the premium sound they offer.

      Nick Name these are inexpensive compared to the L-Acoustics, Meyer, D&B etc. These are for professional use and if you are scared of the cost it will take
      Some orientation for you to understand the value.
