  • While our two most popular springs for the S550 & S650 have MagneRide options, there was still a demand from the drag racing crowd. So we listened and created a left-hand wound rear spring for a drag racing application. So if you've got MagneRide on your GT, or if you have a Mach 1, GT350, GT500, or Dark Horse, then these springs are what you need to get down the 1/4 mile. As a bonus, the Minimum Drop Springs also share the rear Drag Spring but have a stiffer rate up front for increased handling. So if you want better handling, but don't want to lower your MagneRide Mustang too much, this is the kit for you!

    I have the minimum drop springs on my 21 GT with the steeds shocks and GT350 camber plates. It sits perfect with clearance for street applications but handling is much improved. I have an ever so slight prostance look with the camber plates on and it looks perfect.

    I have the non magnaride minimum drop on my PP1 with proaction shock and really like them. Excellent daily driver, autocross and Time trials car. Love them.

    You guys don't understand how hard I have been looking for a spring like this for my 2022 Mach 1. Was attracted to the dual rates but they looked too stiff for daily driving. Liked the Sports because they maintained a comfortable ride but were too low for my area. Will be placing an order soon!

    The s550 and 650 do not us a hydraulic system to operate the top. Its a fairy light weight electric actuator. As far as the extra bracing one could say is on the minimalistic side. The verts under the stars are fun though along with the open air sound.

    How does the minimum drop compare to the magneride sport springs

    • @steedaautosports
      @steedaautosports  Před 4 měsíci

      The Minimum drop is a linear spring with a constant spring rate and is our spring with the smallest lowering amount. The MagneRide Sport Springs are a progressive rate which are softer initially but as you hit the turns it progressively stiffens up past the Min. Drop rate. They also lower the car about 1"-1 1/4" compared to 1/2"-3/4".

      @@steedaautosportsif I had concerns about potholes in my area, would the Minimum Drops make more sense?

    Steeda needs to make a spring with a 1.25in drop for Magnaride.
