Febco Model 860 & 850 Repair Video

I have the 860 size 1 rp bfp and i followed your video. The only thing i see not mentioned is the hole above the relief valve. Any ideas why this would spray water when
Inlet ball valve is opened. Tia

Thank you for this great video . The brace cylinder is slightly dripping like a drop a minute . What should I do ?
