I have the 860 size 1 rp bfp and i followed your video. The only thing i see not mentioned is the hole above the relief valve. Any ideas why this would spray water when Inlet ball valve is opened. Tia Great video learned much

I repllace and tight it and run the fire pump but there is a leak and smoke pls help
My landscaper installed this valve about a month ago. It supplies a six zone system that waters every other day. This valve discharges to the ground about a gallon of water about once a week. Is that normal?

TIP From a rebuild in case it helps someone. Check valve 1 and Check valve 2 appear to be the same parts but actually have different spring sizes. When I rebuilt with a gasket and o-ring kit, I swapped the springs and they were close enough in size that I didn't notice. If you do this all of the water dumps out of the relief valve which apparently is a common failure which has it's own troubleshoot list. I spent a couple hours going through the list. Of course that list doesn't include that if you rebuilt make sure springs are in the right valves. Thanks for the video.

This happened to me also. For such a comprehensive video, it was a big oversight to not mention this.

they don't mention on all 825Ys made before a certain date, the check seats are not replaceable.

Are you able to remove the ball valves that allow you to connect an air compressor too? I cannot find a coupling to screw onto those anywhere!

You should then shut off the valve on the back seat and loosen the o packing slightly to receive any excess process

Not only water, the packing is pushed up. I had that happen multiple times while replacing rusted nuts/bolts. No fun job
