Thanks for your video, I got the exact same kit and struggled to figure it out and make it work. Had to use a bunch of spacers and washers but I made it work. Now I gotta figure out how to install the mounting plate on the tour pack

Buffalo Harley Davidson wanted $460 just for a sissy bar pad in front docking Hardware. Got everything on eBay for less than 200. Harley instructions I believe are deliberately made to be complicated. I would hate to see Harley-Davidson go out of business but they need to stop screwing their faithful customers. Thanks brother I was about to blow a gasket so I saw everything went on your video appreciate you

Great video, thanks a lot for posting. I'm installing the front docking kit for the passenger backrest. I had previously installed the rear kit, but the front seems more difficult. With the extra parts and the poor instructions, your video is a real time saver. It says 1.5 hour install time on the instructions, but I'm sure it will take me twice as long.

Great video instructions are perfect I found out when I followed these instructions why the saddlebag bracket that attaches saddle bag to bike goes over not under. If you have hard saddle bags with the detachable tour pac kit and you have the chrome magnetic covers over the docking kit if you have bracket under the top box lid is easy scratched when you open not much room if you put bracket over as per instructions gives you more of a gap hard saddlebags can be opened no risk of scratching lids.

outstanding video. I will be doing the exact same thing this weekend. May I ask - are you supposed to fill air for the shocks on 1 side only - or do you install air on both sides? I recently picked up a 2003 Road King, so I'm just getting to know the bike. Thank you. Again, great video.

Thank you much. There are 2 air inlet valves on the one side of the fender. So, both shocks are aired up on one side of the bike, at least on my 2001 RK. Good luck with your install!

i put the same kit on and when you put any resistence on the backrest the front pops out of the rubber "washer" that has the cutout to go around the shock. are you seeing the same or no complaints on your end?
