Lovely neat install, and very well taught out I think Gretel just might have to sport a full car set :)

Nice episode Cole, the HEL braided lines look so much nicer than the coppers, particularly where they are already pre-bent for the tighter turn points. Hope the new garage extension is progressing well. Live long and prosper buddy 👍🇬🇧

Thanks for the video Cole, it looks like a really neat kit and like Paul I think I will need to invest in a set when I get to this point in my rebuild !

Definitely not. One of my local patrons is actually buying it and has added some pretty exciting hardware to the mix. More to come soon 😁

    Hi !
I have on my mini the brake booster with 2 lines coming out of the master cylinder, one for the rear and the other for the front (what is the passtrought part between master cylinder and the T part at top of the right wheel ?).
Which kit I have to take ? And does the kit comes with the brake caliper line bolted on the subframe ? I dont like a much the clamped method :/
Sry for my english, thank you a lot for all your videos it help a lot !!

Hi! No problem your English is fine. :-)
For your kit we might need to do some measurements. Please send me a photo of your engine bay - classicminidiy@gmail.com and I can help get you the correct kit. OUt brake caliper lines are clamp style only. We do not offer a bolt-on style connector currently.

@@classicminidiy Hi, thank you for reply.
I was asking because the picture on the website show a bolted part where you have your clamp on the video.
Ill show you my setup and maybe it will be possible to have bolted one in a futur hehe.
I need to ask if this king of modifications is allowed in my country 😅.
      Thank you again !

Do you sell any of the parts that you used, in your shop?
I can't remember if you mentioned it many times or not? 😉

Sorry to criticise (again!) but we have always found it’s a bad idea to replace every solid brake line with flexible ones as the brake pedal feel gets softer due to the small amount of flex in the longest runs. Also any curves in the new long flexible lines try to straighten out under high pressure (up to 1200 psi...) which is exactly how a bourdon pressure gauge works. Don’t forget that, despite their stainless name, the actual pressure line inside is only nylon tube. Braided steel is rubbish at resisting expansion and is only there for mechanical protection of the nylon inside. So what you’re really doing is replacing steel /copper or kunifer alloy with plastic tube... 🤔
We only ever replace the old rubber flexible hoses with stainless braided hose, and therefore the new (short bits) of hose are stiffer than the old rubber, and pedal feel improves.
    Hope that helps 😁

Hi David, appreciate your hold ups on braided hose. I will say we have supplied and set up 100's of cars that run braided throughout including the Team Legacy time attack car, drift cars, track cars with no report of loss of brake feel. The burst pressure is 12618 PSI which is miles above operating pressure as you have stated. The hose isn't simply lined with nylon, we use a PTFE liner designed for purpose.
