ENTJ and yes the ruling principles was explained very well - I am usually describing it as “core” “overarching” or “theme”

Thanks for the video. For beginners, and people who enjoy operating machineries like cars, I’d say the hero function is the “autopilot” function, where the users do not even need to be aware of it. The second function is the “main driver” but manual instead of auto. Autopilot trumps main driver, always. Thank you again, hope to see more of your videos

So it may get underreported. I took a cognitive function test last night and it went Te, Ti, Ni, Fi, Se. Not sure what's going on with Ti, but it's basically INTJ with Ni and Te flipped. Ni in particular seems like it can slip under the radar. Intuition is already something that just passively happens, where thinking can be thought about, intuition must be observed. I suspect I underreported my Ni, which is why the type ranking listed ENTJ and INTJ fairly close.

Personally, it is helpful to me to separate functions into primary and secondary focus. For an introvert, the primary focus is put on the introverted function, while for extraverted people, it is on the extraverted functions. I also try to see which function helps the dominant introverted vs dominant extraverted. So, in a way, I break things down to understand them, and then try to put them back together in a way that makes sense. Also, I try to separate behavior from cognitive functions. At times, it does connect to functions, but not necessarily. For example: everyone can be stubborn. The difference comes from finding out why someone shows such tendency? The answer to why usually leads to cognitive functions.

I most definitely agree with Se being a strong indication of differences within these two types. The innocent pushy nature of Se child is sometimes "underrated" in that of ENTJ's and ENFJ's, and Se inferior at times is "overrated" sometimes within and coming from the males that I personally know in INFJ and INTJ's from what I personally noticed, but of course and always, depending on the development of the individuals. I also noticed a lot of bragging after or while successfully achieving things within INTJ's... which in some cases is just stating the facts, however, in other cases really coming from a place of insecurities... Perhaps a little of both, compared to that of Se child within ENTJ's, interesting. ENTJ's can brag too like everyone can do, but when they do, there is a certain confidence there that stays out, or at least it looks that way to me. Although Se are both their lower functions in their egos, they are still playing on different sides of the coin.... So different energy altogether... interesting

I absolutely agree that we should be able to notice our dominant function early on in life because it would be the first to show up in our psyche.
Unrelated to the video, my childhood behavior informed me I'm a Ti dom. And recent observation (or should I say "introspection"? But I'd say observation is the correct word because I was observing my mind, my psyche) made me realize I do utilize Ne and Si as my perceiving functions. I observed my psyche using my Si I believe. I also believe that the knowledge I attain from my surrounding is done subconsciously, or maybe with selective attention, not sure which one.
I am officially typed twice but I don't take external facts that easy. I am by nature very skeptical and I often examine myself, if I'm really an INTP as those practitioners said.
Even after years. One minute I am convinced, next I doubt it.
Anyway, as the book Gifts Differing also suggests, the dominant function shows up early on (and you said it too), I absolutely agree with it.

    I got more confused lol
When talking about the usage and preference of the Dom/Aux functions I identified myself more as an INTJ, especially when it came to the roleplaying like I use to be more oriented towards the process rather than the goal. I tend to trust that the plan will innevitably to the goal as long as we keep following it. But when it came to the shadow functions, definetely ENTJ. I remember clearly saying things like "Look at all those signs and facts, how could you not see that coming? What did you think would happen? It makes no sense to, based on all this information, you think otherwise. You are really dumb to think something else would come out of this madness"
At the same time I like to do stuff alone, but pople always come to me to manage and help them achieve their stuff. And I remember also saying "This is not the goal, your plan has many flaws. Redo it. You said you would get X by Y date, what happened that you didn't achieve that? Next time, plan ahead for those accidents you mentioned, you should have see that coming. It ś obvious you'd get sick, you get sick about 4 times a year, why would it be different now? Why didn't you take that in account?"
Meanwhile when managing my own stuff I love to plan and do and get the results and show people "Look, I planned that. I made my research. The goal was X. Here's the proof that this plan works and my intuition was correct. Git gud scums, you are not trying enough. If I can do it so can you"

I was hoping to hear examples how INTJ are SELF critical with Ti. As a 5 INTJ I can constantly be critical never knowing enough. I dont know if that is a Ti thing though or a 5 thing. Non 5 INTJs must be self critical in other ways?

Perhaps just different styles of management. I can see that they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Just a thought from an ENTP (not an expert on MBTI) but one of the strengths of ENTJ would be results in a timely manner whereas INTJ might take more time but have a well thought out process into the future. ENTJ might see the INTJ's style as indecisive, at the same time, the INTJ may see the ENTJ's style as acting too quickly without enough information. I'm sure there's more to it as well.
