ENTJ - Your feelings are irrelevant.
INTJ - Your feelings don't solve anything.
    ENTJ - Hard to forget.
    INTJ - Hard to know.
ENTJ - Have a good experience with me.
INTJ - Don't have a bad experience with me.
ENTJ Ideal Award - Last Man Standing
INTJ Ideal Award - Most Improved
ENTJ - Credentials are meaningless... Here are mine.
INTJ - Here is the cooI project I just finished.
ENTJ - Forgot where I left my keys. And car.
INTJ - Forgot the past 15 years.

I totally agree with your statement that ENTJs lack delegation. My boyfriend is an ENTJ and most of the time people around took him for granted because he's just so chill. You would really think he's not mad at you but he'll certainly plan a lot to make you miserable. Once you betray an ENTJ, they will not hesitate to let you go or make you miserable. For me, ENTJ is one of the most loyal & most faithful personality types. If you have an ENTJ partner, never let him or her go. Bdw, I'm an INTJ. 😉

It's actually surprising to see two INTJs (Kristelly and Lori) that say good things about ENTJs. I had two INTJ employees and they hated me. Of course, I hated back, too. INTJs never seem to understand me (ENTJ) so we always had a disagreement. Anyways, most loyal and faithful - HELL YEAH! Nice point there. Most people think ENTJs are selfish, arrogant, and bad but people who really know me well they think completely reverse of that. It's just that ENTJs are very hard to understand from a normal people's point of view. BTW, I didn't quite understand, though, what you mentioned about lack delegation (Lori, below, said isn't good at delegation) but that's what ENTJs are the best at. Don't know what you are talking about. The reason Elon, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs (and also me, hehe) are great entrepreneurs is because we are good at delegating. We have grand plans and ideas and we don't like doing ourselves. Of course, in the beginning we do them but as it builds up we delegate to people and then grow the company. Isn't that how you grow the company? In my case, I used to to A to Z. But now I don't do any everyday work or daily routine jobs. I process ideas and delegate them to employees.

The ENTJ I know was BAD at delegating. 😂 If possible, he'd go and bear all the burden himself. It's why I call him a "tank". Resilient, one of the hardest hitters I know, driven, and larger than life...but often also overworked.
I help him out because it often turns out we want the same outcomes. The good results/ output pleases him, and my part in it is often warmly mentioned by him.😂
Said ENTJ has developed a fondness for me and was often ready to mentor me when I had shown him potential.
There were very few flash points between us. He liked my independence and self reliance. ENTJ only remarked on my lack of initiative only once, but added I'd be well-rounded when I finally have that. :3

Recently showed my ENTJ friend this. I'm an INTJ, and many times we feel like we're on the same wavelength. This is the first time she's seen a video in regards to her type. I helped typed her a while ago and went through the cognitive functions (several times to ensure we got it right). Seeing this, she was floored at how scarily accurate this all was to her, and now she's hooked. The four sides of the mind is so refreshing to see and a great insight into the mind. The loyalty check you mentioned in the ENTJ video applies to us (more so her) at the moment. She's currently doing a loyalty check on a mutual friend, while I suggested maybe cutting her off (after a few circumstances). I ended up yielding and am watching it unfold. This is so informative and points out our flaws (unlike many other explanations), which gives a new perspective on how to improve...like not following people into bathroom stalls. Great video. 11/10

I keep going through this cycle where I first start to doubt that I am an INTJ, then I go through all my qualities and maybe rewatch a few videos before I convince myself that I am infact an INTJ, and that logically, since I do have many of the attributes of an INTJ that the majority of other types dont have, I can only be an INTJ. I then chalk my doubt up to Ti critic being extremely critical and I become, once again completely confident in my assessment if my type. But this never lasts long, as a day or two later I am once again assessing the possibility that i may be a different type. ☹
I have also seen a lot of other INTJs do this so I know I shouldnt be doubting it, but of course, the doubt keeps returning... and of course, Mr CS Joseph, your probably all too happy with this, as uncertain INTJ's probably help fuel ur business with all their type verification requests... 🙁

But really it's just cause I struggle with those deeper connections. It just takes me years (usually about 3-5 years minimum, 3 years was just one person who really understood me), but that doesn't mean I can't be a good host or anything, I'm usually put in public speaking positions and such because I can easily do it. Just struggle with emotions. But the way the functions are stacked definitely makes more sense that way.

As an ENTJ, delegation is definitely the sign of a more mature ENTJ. Also, many/most people at less professional jobs (early in their career) lack the responsibility making it impossible to delegate tasks to them. The higher in business you get, the easier it is to find CAPABLE individuals who can actually be trusted to get things done on time, with high quality.
As an ENTJ, It takes time to learn the lessons of overburdening yourself from not delegating and the problems of covert contracts. Proper delegation is the key that needs to be in place to free up the ENTJ mind to more creative/visionary tasks.

I had my isfj mom take me out before I took any official driving lessons so that I could be prepared, she helps with starting things and I’m able to finish the job which is one of my favorite things about here even if she can be overbearing at times and has zero chill. I was the first one of my brothers to get a drivers license but definitely the insecurity is real. More so when driving to unfamiliar places or with other people to those unknown places. Even with your test I struggles as I am both highly introverted and controlling which seems to be an impossible combo. Sometimes people perceive me as hectic or too fast but mostly I hate chaos, I am poor in making important decisions, I am obsessed with verification.
Apart from this I see myself more on the INTJ side just that I do not feel socially awkward. I know social rules and can play by them if necessary. Mostly I just don't because I don't want to and I don't feel bad about it. Anyone else having similar experiences?

So far a ENTJ is the only type that hears my thoughts considers it and will come back and say they don’t normally do this but I am right about etc but yeah if you compare the four sides of a INTJ and the ENTJ it won’t take long and look at the personalities of your closest friends around you. Gonna watch ISTJ vs INTJ next but I'm 100% convinced I'm INTJ. I wanted to comment on the trust and forgiveness thing from my perspective. Everything you said is right about the untrustworthy being absolutely dead to the INTJ. But there is one and only one instance where you can be forgiven. And technically it's still not forgiving the person who broke their trust. But the untrustworthy person within that person has to completely die and the person has to become absolutely brand new. There can be no trace of existence of that untrustworthy individual within the individual. And even if that person is now actually good at heart and trustworthy, they would have to try 100,000 times harder to prove it. If they are not going out of their way to prove it, then they don't care anyway... Now maybe I'm just one of the better INTJ's or maybe it's because I'm christian and the whole "forgive and forget" thing, but that's my take on it anyway. All the INTJ's I've met are down right Satanists...

    • @quicksilver1752
      @quicksilver1752 Před 5 lety +2

Here's what I wrote on another CZcams video before watching this:
Here's the thing with trust and forgiving with what I believe to be an INTJ characteristic (from an INTJ)... If someone breaks your trust someway, they can say sorry or whatever, and really truly be sorry even, but if an INTJ senses that the same person who broke their trust still exists within them, meaning they still have the same tendency to break trust, then the "sorry" or whatever is alright I guess, but it means absolutely nothing if you are still the same person that broke the INTJ's trust. INTJ's think in terms of what could happen or would happen and what you would do and they judge you based on that. And if that same untrustworthy personality exists within that individual, then that means that person still would break their trust again, just that a scenario in which that would become evident hasn't been encountered a second time... In order to renew trust or true forgiveness in an INTJ, that person would have to die and no longer exist (metaphorically, I expect that you get what I am saying if you're an INTJ). The same person that broke their trust can never regain it back again because that person is not trustworthy. They have to change and become brand new...

@@Voltaire619 An ENTJ who is a nacissist is a very sorry fellow.
I get how someone that is not particularly receptive to personality traits can confuse one for the other, but there is one main difference:
Narcissist will tell you how great they are, how good they are at their work, how much money they make, but most of the time they're overcompensating for their HUGE insicurities. If you critique them they'll not listen, and will call you a loser as a defense mechanism ("you are a loser, so your opinion doesn't matter, so the critique you made is not valid").
An ENTJ will tell you how great they are, how good they are at their work, how much money they make, and they'll be only telling the truth.
I know most people does not like when some random guy tells them that he's good at something and istantly think that he's lying, but with an ENTJ that's not the case.
Of course, they have their insicurities too - like everyone else. But I have yet to meet an ENTJ that is not happy to hear a personal critique, doing everything he can to better himself.

I’ve been wondering about the differences between the 2. I thought I couldn’t be an extrovert because I’m n or super outgoing and sociable, and I like to stick to a smaller set of people, but I also know that I can be very assertive, spontaneous, impulsive, hedonistic and image focused, especially for a type with low Se. When I was younger, I was very inquisitive, energetic and liked to analyse, and I was a bit mischievous and like a show off, but I was also very naive and trusted people too easily. I was seen as thoughtful, charismatic, intelligent, scientific and eccentric. I was often taken advantage of because of my kindness and warm nature, so I closed myself off for a while and became more hardened. Now I am getting more in touch with my emotions and my vulnerable side to connect with people and to enjoy life. I am also a very sensual type of person and have been very adventurous with sex, food and sometimes drugs.

Can you please explain as to why do you claim only these two types to be naturally intelligent.

  • @imgoingonholidaytovietnam3631

You said with INTJ’s to always state your intentions. Can you please do a video explaining what to do with every single type in the same vein?
Like what do you always do with INFP’s? - I am guessing there is a slightly unique tact that should be prioritised for dealing with each type so that you’re on the same page? I know a few INFP’s and ENFP’s and I just want to know what to do.

Delegation = Preference to avoid work (for whatever reasons) + authority/responsibility.
If we put children in charge of their parents, they would delegate everything.
Delegation done well involves not just passing the buck, but passing it to the right person, who will grow the most from the experience, and who can handle it to begin with. ENTP is better at the former (choosing to delegate). ENTJ is better at the latter (Identifying who can do what).
I will say you have a remarkable understanding of the types though. I still think you don't understand Te, but it's not surprising you would think your shadow functions are all "inferior and bad". It's the same reason sensors often distrust intuition and feelers distrust thinking. But anyway your general understanding of types is very comprehensive.

    Brilliant!
But entjs are way better at delegating than other types. The reason is because of Te. They figure out who can do what and let them rock.
I found intjs too shy. Enfps are too self-focused. Intps can be both too out of touch with what they want and too perfectionistic. They need to do it themselves.
Entjs can be in host mode and want to create a good working environment.

Jaye Davidson you just described how ENTJs delegate but that doesn’t make it quality delegation

Let's just say I have worked for intps and I believe differently your assessment. I am flattered you answered though.
Also, given that most CEOs are entjs I think that data doesn't support your conclusions.
The rational which always concerned with facts and the logical which is always concerned with making conclusions based syllogisms.
Statistically, entps aren't leaders. They are cultural influencers but not leaders.
But I do agree that Enfps make great leaders. This not because they are good delegating but rather they inspiring and create flexibility.
But again, I am flattered you responded.

ESTPs are way better at delegation. I’d say Se is better at finding these things than Te.
Why INTJs are perceived as better is probably due to their aspiration.

Hey C.S.Joseph. I've been watching a ton of your videos, and rewatched several. For the last while I've had a sneaking suspicion that I may have mistyped myself INTJ. While I am still quite convinced that is correct. I am getting more and more feelings that ENTJ may be the one. I'm not sure if my autism makes me more controlling, or if this "assume ENTJ" is a phase. I'll need to find out. I find that with this video, I can relate to either. I do see very scared with being stupid/wrong (Ti Nemesis?) and my Fi has never been my strong suit. I get told my Te is rather... Well.. overpowered if I were INTJ. Not sure if that all adds up but I am getting doubtful about the correctness of INTJ. Got any bright ideas? I'll rewatch this video right now, see what can be determined. I just don't get one thing. I see ENTJ As The Caesar/Napoleon. I don't really brandish such expressions, nor am I Extraverted. Confusion! Sort out...
