Great vid again Joe. I've used Alexa since the Echo first available for Prime members, and I've been impressed with how quickly it's improved since then.
Alexa is right up there. It did much better than expected.

Same here. We also have Amazon Echo in the house, Alexa is very versatile and can be fun.

You can add your own shortened commands to Bixby
Bixby is an early product and already performing on par and better in some instances than several year old assistants. That's really impressive. Besides, if you have Bixby, you have Google Assistant so you get the best of both worlds.

All the others have years on bixby and bixby still does many things better.
I enjoy using bixby.

more bixby the funny one. Her responses look like they had actual work put into them. Most are at least 2 sentences long.
Google assistant for web searches... Bixby for phone control
Use Cortana on Windows phone so you an expect better results

I downloaded Cortana in my android phone because ga is not compatible on my phone and its actually good

Bixby is unbeatable when it comes to navigating throw the apps. Really handy because that's exactly when I use Assistant - when I can't touch the screen. I hope Google Assistant will get something similiar soon.
Google Assistant is a good combination with Bixby. But in the future, Bixby can do it all.
Its impossible to beat GA. Google owns the worlds data, has the best search engine, best Map, CZcams, and friggin Android which is 89% of all phones!
Who own an s8 they're so Lucky having both Bixby and Google Assistant on their phone. Those are far better than Siri
Being an s8+ owner i jump between google assistant and bixby now that i can FINALLY use its voice functions in australia

With bixby you can say stuff like go to the camera setting and change the resolution to 4k and take a photo. With bixby you can control your phone completely handsfree, and if you combine it with Google Assistant, you will be ready to go :)
I am for the most part happy with google assistant however the lack of uber support, the inability to recognize music with the assistant and NOT having to go to google now to get that kind of function, and the simple fact that when i tell my google assistant to open "my browser" and "go to a specific website" and it just closes the assistant and fails to complete the task irks me after seeing Bixby do all of these kind of things pretty flawlessly. If i COULD have bixby on my google pixel i'd have it on the side for those things my GA couldn't complete. I'm sure Bixby has music recognition along with uber support and those other things mentioned above.
Cortana has support for Uber. You have to enable it in the connected services.
Right now Google Assistant is the best and Bixby is close second. However Bucky us brand new and has way more potential than any other Assistant. It can already do more than most others

Google assistant is the more polished one maybe because Google (the company) has access to lots of information about all of us.
Bixby seems to be improving and if machine learning also applies here, am sure with time it will get even much better and be up there as well.

Once you get used to using proper context and phrasing (as in, proper to Bixby), Bixby is probably the most powerful assistant. Plus, shortcut commands allow you do perform complex multi step tasks with a single word or short phrase. It does take more tinkering and setting up so to speak than the others, but the reward is a completely new way to interact with your device.
I have Alexa, Cortana, Bixby, and Google Assistant all on my phone. I use Alexa the most when I am home with my echo devices but bounce between Bixby and Google Assistant on my phone. The only time I use Cortana is when I am sitting at my computer and I want to send text from phone, you can use voice command from your computer to and it will send the message from your phone.

I've been trying really hard to use Bixby with pretty spotty results. I've been giving it some time.
I honestly didn't know Bixby can do as much as it did. I use both Bixby and Google for separate tasks. I might be giving into Bixby alot more.

Google's efficiency is the best, but I find Cortana to be more chatty and personalized towards me. :)
Also, you could've gotten the Cortana app to make it more fair. I have it on my phone and it definitely works with CZcams and other functionality.
The reason why google assistant don't perform user interface control like bixby is because of security issues because anyone can bypass the voice recognise and can do anything
Bixby and Google Assistant will always be better than Siri and Cortana and Alexa the reason Alexa did well is because you linked it to your Amazon Echo that's the only reason why otherwise it wouldn't be able to do the things that it was doing
Bixby is in still beta but doing amazing stuff! Imagine what it'll do in future 🔮
This was a fair contest, and kudos for keeping it even handed. I use voice assistants most while driving, when I really need to be hands free. Top use cases: getting directions, and sending text messages or phone calls. I find Siri to be adequate at this, and misses my commands about half the time.
I really miss Cortana on Windows Phone, which was the best implementation to date IMHO. It would detect when driving, and read out text messages to me, and allow to respond (even rewriting sentences) with just voice. It's a shame that functionality has mot been ported to Android or Apple.
Personally I have an iPhone but I hardly use Siri ever. It's more of a pain trying to use an assistant than to just performing the task my self
i use both google assistant on my Lg G6 and curtana on my laptop and siri on my mack but i find that google assistant i the most useful as it is the best at completing tasks and you don't have to instal any third party apps to do specific tasks

Generally you would use an assistant when you cannot do something with your hands. For example, when driving I use Waze. I cannot just get an assistant to change my route or get me information that I might be seeking without needing to click on something. Assistants have a long way to go before they are worth using. As it is, they are just novelty features.
Google assistant i em using in beta version. I have s voice which is worse, don't catch any of my command but google is suporb. Love it and i wanna provide 4.5 to 4.8 rating.
How can you activate them on your Android or phone?
I am always torn between Google Assistant and Cortana, so far I am learning towards Google Assistant because it works with maps, and navigation is one of the most important things to me. I was considering Cortana because I enjoy the concept of intergrating my phone, and computer, however on the android there is a lot of things Cortana can't do.
Samsung is the best because it has Bixby and Google.....Google fills in bixby weak spots and Bixby fills in Googles weak spots.....best of both worlds tbh
And you can still add Alexa and Cortana to your s8

in day to day usage bixbys advanced features are the most useful
I use Bixby to complete a very complicated task each night. All I need to say is "good night" and Bixby sets up my alarm, turns on "do not disturb", optimizes my phone, turns on power save mode, closed all recent app, and turns off the screen while I lay in bed, ready to sleep. I say good morning and Bixby turns off the alarms, turns off power save mode, and turns off do not disturb. I honestly love Bixby
Ok for daliy functions on my smartphone (Note) nothing is better than bixby but for search I do what you did, ask bixby to search Google. They both work great together. ow and nothing comes close to short commands that you can do with bixby. Bixby has control of all the options on the phone but it needs Google for hard information questions. thanks

u activated my cortana at 11:25 :)) btw : google assistant (when i come hoem usually i put it on the bed/table and start: k gogu(yeah it does work with this instead of ok google) set brighness to a quarer, set all volumes to max, turn on wifi, turn off bluetooth, and usually adding a reminder of sum sort (yeah....every....day) and then i us ecortana on my laptop (most used command is play music bt speakers :) btw will there be a how to get bixby voice on any android phone ?

So a long time apple fan here. I recently got issued a Pixel 2 for work and I was amazed with Google Assistant. It’s a world of difference and so much better than Siri. Does anyone else get mad that Siri just results in web searches all the time. Then she displays it on the screen for literally 4 seconds before it completely disappears. How is this not fixed yet?!
Lucky for us Amazon and Microsoft just signed a deal to allow Alexa to be run on Microsoft devices and Cortana to have access to Alexa skills.
It's funny how all these Assistants depends on Google to search for information 😅

Google and Bixby look to be the best. Sure is nice having them both baked into one phone.
Cortana because I am in the Microsoft environment and it's cross-platform. Those are a biggest reasons, but I do hope Microsoft puts more attention in Cortana and also I hope Build 2018 clears up some of that.

Google is the most advanced here honestly speaking and it's followed by bixby, siri, alexa and cortana
Bixby is the only one that actually interact and do in deph tasks within the phone. You can tell bisxby to change settings on your phone.

It seems third party support has been Microsofts's major problem these past years, from apps on their store to plugins for their browser to Cortana integration.

Till a assistant has privacy in mind ill continue being a manual user and my galaxy j7 perx 2017 is more than enough for what i use it for considering i can use an sd card as internal storage
