I go over how I polish rims and what products are my "go to's".
I know there is so many different ways and products to choose from, but with that said this is just the way I found to be the easiest with great results!
The spay wax application is not needed also.
Thanks for the support!

Here is a fast way ✅ to Polish Aluminum wheels 👀: czcams.com/video/mem_eVxI2_8/video.html
An honest tutorial and not even trying to sell anything. Great video!
Thank you 🙏
I'm Japanese. Hello.I'm commenting using the English interpreter tool.Nice to meet you. I registered for a channel. It's so pretty!
Awesome!
Thank God! A video that's straight to the point yet successful. Thanks man, good job
Appreciate it and thanks for watching. Did you subscribe?
I wasn't expecting this! Looks fairly easy but the results are great on a working truck!
X2 on Flitz! I sometimes apply a little baking flour to the wheel after polishing and wipeing down. Wipe the wheel with a soft rag to make sure the flour comes in contact with the whole surface. It will soak up the black polishing residue from small crevises and brighten the wheel up.
I'm trying to learn how to polish so great video man!
Thank you for being blunt and forward with is Video!💯Good Job and Thank you for the tips!
Your welcome thanks for watching hope it helps.
Used it for the first time last weekend definitely worth buying if you're a person who likes detailing your own car recommend first time to use on lowest setting 800 so you don't burn paint don't leave in one spot keep moving it over paint easy to use czcams.com/users/postUgkxfzbDkCRyv3CFXnLZI4APZtRRuG2uRmP2 truck looks like new again used maguires black light battery life like all milwaukee products seem to hold up well 😀
Instead of the spray wax, you should try zephyrs pro 40 liquid compound. Works As a good final finish wipe and sealant!
Nice! Great tip. Thanks.
No problem
I use the seme stuff works good
Andy great content and information on Wheel polishing. One of the best on CZcams. I own a Semi Truck Thanks bro
I appreciate the kind words sir!
THANKS A LOT MAN REALLY HELPED MY ROOMMATE ISN'T GOING IT RIGHT LIKE HE POLISHING A ALUMINUM BIKE FRAME
Thank you so much for sharing you experience.
Sinisters Devil's Brew is the best I've ever seen in my 40+ years of polishing. Never will spend my money on anything else....
K well where can you get it?
Been wanting to do this on my Pete at work, I was hoping I wasn't gonna need rouge blocks. Thanks!!!
Blue Magic is my favorite Chrome Polishing Compound it's creamy and easy-to-use and leaves a blue luster on the Chrome or aluminum Blue Magic cream polish
Very helpful video. thanks!
Tanks a lot for sharing to your experience. You have a really great man.
Thank you for explaining and not talking too much
Your welcome I try.
Thank you for making this video good job brother..👍🇺🇸
Great video! Thanks! How do you polish in between nuts better?
Great no nonsense video 👍
Thanks man. I try and do my videos that way. Thanks for watching.
very nice! i was a truck driver, and use to do that by hand on my down time loll!
I have done that also takes forever lol.
I'm a truck driver and still do it by hand on my down time 🤣 definitely going to be bringing my drill with me
Shit i just did my wheels by hand and tool boxs on flatbed,i wish i had that drill lol. Looks good man 👍
For many years I did mine by hand also. I’ve been using Mother’s (company name) with the three applicators that come in a kit, about $100.00. It’s worth it. I can do a wheel in about 10min. Great job Andy.
Great job sir, you make it look so simple. Thanks for keeping your video to the point.
Thank you!
Awesome video thanks man!
Thanks for the break down! 😎👍
your welcome
Just picked up a set of used Weld wheels for cheap and I'm gonna use an old power ball I got laying around to restore them.
Good job polishing a clean wheel
Thanks lol
Awesome polishing a clean rim
yea I think it was fine if you run nice stuff but a nasty pitted rim that Mothers Ball isn't gonna do shit
What about rims that need to be sanded? Does that work on them without sanding?
Man those wheels looked good from the start guess imma polish mine see if they shine more
I love simple instructive videos without the drama and BS
Lol good to know
@@AndysAutoCarePlus That was supposed to be a compliment. Good video.
Lol I must have read it wrong. Thank you.
Did a good job but since you're making money I'd definitely look into using airway buffs and buffing compounds. You can do an entire wheel in 10 minutes. Also, your method looks more like a maintenance method.. meaning the wheels were already polished and in decent shape.
Yes the wheels were in decent shape this wasnt for crazy bad wheels that wasn’t the purpose of this video. But these were acid washed before hand as it was on a dump truck and that’s the way they clean it.
How do you do around the lug nuts? Wears my fingers out! Any tips are appreciated.
Thanks a heap for the video. 👍🏻 Never used Flitz before. I would love to get your input as to how it would compare against Simichrome Polish. Thanks again! 😉👍🏻
I actually haven’t use that other stuff I absolutely love my flitz polish
Bro I'm doing an aluminum horse trailer. I want to prewash with Mcguire's wheel brightener. What dillution do you recommend?
Would an application of wax be useful after polishing?
Remember it's a chemical reaction so you don't have to push hard like sanding :)
Can you elaborate on this please?
PAUSED JUST TO THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICES BEFORE WATCHING THE VIDEO
Now to polish, i use MOTHERS. The best is JEWELRY RUDE for a highly shine like chrome ! Any truck stop carries it ~ Your recaps are coming apart
my wheels are HEAVILY corroded. will this system still work?
AMIGO BOA TARDE SOU DO BRASIL . ONDE POSSO COMPRAR ESTE (KIT COMPLETO) COM BOINAS E PASTA PARA POLIMENTO DE RODAS DE ALUMINIO ? MANDE O LINK AI DES DE JÁ GRATO
Good video thanks
Dawn dish washing detergent will clean those buffers out like new
That’s what I use.
Thanks bro awesome job.
Just a question about foam ball.
When you polish truck rims near the valve and wheel nuts does it damage the foam ball by ripping etc
It will a little so just use caution and good judgment. I tend to slow down around the hard areas.
Use your fingers....
Nice work 👍
How do you clean the powerball after you are finished with it? Can it be reused for another polishing session, say a year later?
I still use this same one. Soap and warm water will clean it or APC.
Interesting method
What drill are you using?please put a link
Got a vid for restoring brushed aluminum?
Sadly no I don’t
Will this work on polished aluminum wheels
I have Weld Racing Rock Smashers wheels on my Suburban, what polishing drill bit should be my first buy that can do a decent job on the entire wheel? I’m thinking the mother’s cone, what do you think.
That’s a great place to start check out the description it has links to some of the products I used in this video
How much do you charge to polish each wheel Sr?
How can I show u my polish I do tankers and trucks rims
That's really nice..
How would you charge for something like this?
I Bet you dont miss Polishing 🌟
Great video. Looks like tire is ready to throw the recap tho.
Thank you!!!!!
Thank you so much man, very helpful
how much should i charge for polishing wheels?
Thank you. Subscribed
Appreciate that 🙏🙏
Thank you
nice job
Ima buy these polished aluminum wheels for my truck I was wondering just week to week to clean em is it okay to just use ‘wheel cleaner’ and just clean em with a microfiber towel or do i gotta get the rotary out and poilish em everytime they get dirty? Cus I polish my truck every 3 months and just give it a regular car wash every week. Thx
If you’re going to be using a wheel cleaner on them just make sure it’s acid free because the acid will deteriorate them a lot faster I would suggest using a product like brake buster you can use that for the tires and the wheels. Brake Buster 1 Gallon amzn.to/2IoOnPc
What’s the electric tool you use?
great job...
Nice bro 👍🏼
Thanks man.
How much you charge per rim?
I've got a fleet of rigs with Alcoa wheels and I clean them every Saturday. I've started to polish with just Liquid Aluminum polish and a Power Cone plus micro fibers. I didn't think to wax them so I'll have to get some. That makes sense and will hopefully make them need to be polished less often right?
Look for Finish Kare 1000P sealant. Very affordable and one tin will cover your fleet many times over.
Goes on like a wax. Spreads like hard cheese, and then loosens up like grease. Buff off after a few minutes, and don’t apply in direct sunlight.
The reason I recommend this product is because it is resistant to 250*F. Wheels get hot. And this sealant absolutely repels water and other debris.
Thank you for this helpful video Andy.
Where I can buy those products sir?...
Have them all listed in the description. Thanks for watching

Do you use wheel/rim rinse cleaner before you start bc mine is really dull and needs to be cleaned?
I just use a good wheel cleaner then go for it.
@@AndysAutoCarePlus what's a good wheel cleaner? The only wheel cleaners I know of are the brand names like McGuire's?
Where did you get the polish and buffing pads
I have links in the description.
how do you clean these tools?
Anything you suggest to cut one more "level" before the Flitz?
If you’re committed, any automotive cutting compound will do the job. But if you’re looking for low dust and product sling, try Griots FCC. Cuts at the 1500-grit level, and you can follow-up with a finer polish if inclined. Just make sure to add protection after you prep the surface post-polish.
Nice job
Thanks
@@AndysAutoCarePlus your welcome
Can you give me the name of the product that you use the detailer can’t find it
Thanks
It’s called zep polish
All well and good friend... Any reason you didn't use eye protection... just askin
Didn’t think of it at the time.

Can somebody explain me how to clean my chrome wheels and what should I buy to do it????
This process works great on chrome wheels. Here is some items to use:
Mothers Powerball lg amzn.to/2PG6O5i
Mothers Powercone amzn.to/2VI4DDN
Mothers Powerball mini amzn.to/2PG7N5u
Flitz Metal Polish 2 lb amzn.to/2DLRH5D
Flitz 1.6 oz amzn.to/2Y3AKvf
Would this remove light scratches? Or anything you recommend
It might I haven't used on heavy damage before.
What’s your recommendation on Alcoa wheels that have ‘pitting’
This is really my go to metal polish in general now.
TT C sand paper
Doesn't matter what you do, in a week they'll look grey and dismal again. Junk!!! We went to steel wheels with chrome simulators. $450 for all 6 wheels including center hub covers and lug nut spikes. A simple rinse and they're shiny again. If they wear out in a couple years, throw them in the recycle and get a new set. Always shiny, easy to clean and cheap to replace. After battling junk dismal gray Alcoas for 20 years, this is the Only way we roll. 👍👍
Dip them in acid/water solution, wet sand the pitted areas, polish with compound and will look like new
@@gerardohtx207 do you wet sand the whole rim r just the pitted areas
What ya charge per wheel?
Next time give the FLITZ Buff Ball a shot. You can run them faster then the Mothers Ball & no worries about tearing them up around the lugs or valve stem.
Yes, you are correct I actually have one
Can you use wax spray for paint? Thanks!
Absolutely
Please tell me where you brought your polishing pads from?
Links are all in the description
What kind of rpms?
Is that a drill you're using?I'm going to try on my rig
Yes it is
@@AndysAutoCarePlus hydraulic or plug in?
So say you get an ate up wheel with lots of pits and stuff can you cut with the drill?
This would be for a less aggressive approach on wheels in fairly good shape. Heavily pitted wheels will take a much more aggressive approach.
What are tool are you using for polishing and rpm?
Just using a drill.
What should it cost me to have 10 big rig wheels? Rough estimate
Great job
Thks
I’m not sure as I don’t do big rig wheels anymore.
@@AndysAutoCarePlus gotcha thks
So you said that was a garbage truck? So I'm assuming it's a Freightliner?? 😅😅😅😅
What kind of drill brush is that? And where did u buy it!?
I have a link for it in the description
i don’t see it you may have forgot to place the link
I need a drill gun like that what’s the name of it
Sha Money looks like a dewault
Ryobi

I us a polish called autosol but is flitz better?
I haven’t tried that so I’m not sure.
