So once more enjoy how the Heroes of the sequel trilogy struggles through disneys green screen and plastic space adventure park to deliver the best pictures from a galaxy far far away. And Rey is also there... Watch Finn go out on exploring missions, Star destroyers bringing the Heroes out of text and Han Solo closlely avoinding flying into a super market... what a multilayered story...

I mean, I personally believe Poe's character makes the sequels watchable for me. The comedy was amazing, especially the bit b/w Hux and Poe in the first bit of TLJ. The character I do believe was did dirty was Finn especially.
No, we don't need Han Solo #2, we honestly have had more than enough space flights and fights. That's good to see something else for once (Thanks God we have Mando now).
Poe, Finn, Rey. Could've truly been the new trio but instead they were wasted. Rey got given terrible writing, Finn's character took a 180 after a chunk of TFA, and Poe became a side character after blowing up Starkiller base.
Poe's face was never gonna be the same again, after so many slaps his face must be SO red from those multiple takes.

Despite my autistic fixation on "how star wars should have been better". I honestly love these actors, and seeing them enjoying themselves means the world to me.
And I thought Harrison Ford hated being In star wars but that clip on the falcon convinced me otherwise
I think he didn't mind being in the movie but he hated being recognized as Han after the movie got really popular.
He clearly hated it when the fans went nuts.
Dude didn’t even want to be in the movie, he was working on set and stood in for the guys auditioning for Luke but they thought he was so good they cast him as Han

I love seeing how much fun Alec Guinness is just not having
He had a very mixed experience during the filming, and even with most of the cast. But everything seemed to smooth out relation wise I believe towards the end of the films creations.

Man, Alec Guinness hated being there...
I want to think he had a little chuckle...but yeah, accounts very much point to him not being fond of it at all. Basically like Patrick Stewart on TNG at first, only he never loosened up.
Meanwhile, Peter Cushing was apparently the nicest guy on set.

I wish I had a chance to run into him when he was on his famous runs to the shop for groceries.
@@benjaminbierley2074 Cushing had been in a lot of B-movies of varying quality up to that point so I don't think he minded being in a weird American sci fi film that might flop. But Alec was usually in more "serious and respectable" things so he probably thought star wars was a bit below his abilities.
Contrary to popular belief, Alec Guinness actually didn't hate working on Star Wars. What he hated was only being recognized for it despite his entire career before and after it

But every time I saw that man on set footage he seemed outright vexed to have been duped to be there.
I'm old enough to have watched him in great films before SW. He was a great actor. I draw parallels to Daniel Craig from a few years back: seemingly unappreciative of the role and what came with it. Likely not really accurate, as it's just a passing comparison in my head.
Regardless of how he felt about it, Alec Guinness' portrayal of Kenobi formed almost everything that followed about more than just that character. His surly, somewhat curmudgeonly demeanour was, in my opinion, a huge add to say, Clone War's version of the younger Kenobi.
I'm looking forward to what they are going to do to pad out Kenobi's in between time, particularly because I neglected to read up on it from the extended universe content pool.

As much as the sequels were done so incredibly dirty (The Force Awakens was actually pretty, if you compare the first movies of every trilogy, I’d say arguably Rey had the second craziest “I used the Force to win” scene, but it was never meant to be a standalone movie, the whole plot was written to lead up to the next movies), I’m glad the actors were at least having fun
