I have a husky that I took in when he was two years old, but I was the third owner. He never had a bath in his life, still doesn’t like baths, lol. He was distance and didn’t want any love.
It took me a year to get a close bond with him. He’s my boy. He likes to speak now, and is a lover boy.

It took you a year- you never gave up on him. He may have been left with some really sad, drummed in personality difficulties by his previous owners, but you didn't just "own a Husky"- you tackled all his problems with your love and your time.
Huskies are in a few of the top ten dog lists for things like Most Intelligent Dogs, but also some other lists as well.
Apparently they have so personality that a lot of people wanting a "dog" reject them flat out. They can't accept all that spirit, heart and mind in one, especially as they need so much time training and guidance.
It just goes to show when a person is prepared to invest their whole self into such a Soul.🙏🕊🌏☮️🌻💐

When I first saw him I couldn’t even recognize him as a husky. What a gorgeous boy he turned out to be. So glad he found a home with people who understand them. I have a rescue Siamese who to me is a dream cat but I’m guessing they didn’t understand the unique needs of Siamese which are actually pretty simple. Snd the pay off in companionship with them is well worth the effort. She is the best cat I’ve ever had. Whoever abandoned her missed out on having a loyal snd loving little lap cat who also is game for adventures. Snd has the most mellow snd ready to obey personality I’ve ever seen in a cat. She is extremely trainable. In fact it makes her happy to learn new things because she is so smart. She gets bored easily so if you don’t train her in new behaviors she can get moody and will get into mischief. People who get Siamese need to know that so as to avoid the mischief. Just play with them and make play time interesting by training them at the same time.
