- Welcome to this video everyone! In this video I go and sit next to Andy, who I found sat on a wet, cold street in Manchester. He has been homeless for a long time. Chatting with him was really interesting. It was a real eye-opener hearing what he had to say, and was yet another reminder of how lucky I am to have a roof over my head and a warm, safe place to live, food on my plate and all the other basic necessities of life. I was amazed at how positive he was, which was also a valuable lesson. How can I complain, and be negative in my life when I have everything I need and much more.
This was a special experience and one that I think is worth sharing! I hope you'll enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed spending time with Andy.

It's amazing, this guy has nothing, & no place to put it, yet he's attitude, & outlook is better & more positive than a lot of comfortable, wealthy people. Thanks for taking the time.
Andy is an inspiration!
Thanks Joe. I live in Boston, USA and since the pandemic, I've see a huge rise in homelessness in the greater Boston area. It shocking and very sad to see the plight of these unfortunate people.

I really enjoyed watching your video , I volunteer in Manchester every Thursday night up until lockdown. Andy is a lovely chap and I hope he got into that hotel. Thanks for sharing
Nice one man, that's really cool! I always keep an eye out for him, but I haven't seen him since that day, so he might well have gotten into that hotel. Cheers for the support
Aaron ur a star

@@IwasBlueb4 thank you but it’s human nature at the end of the day, with a toss of a coin it could be myself! Or anyone! One planet , one world , one love ! 💙❤️
What a lovely soul Andy is, I really wish him all the luck & health for the future. 💕
This is so touching. Bless you Andy.

Fair play mate some people just need a hug i rate what your doing taking the time out for other people is amazing
I hope you gave him something mate..... 🤞
Sometimes being homeless is better than the previous life. I've lived on the road for over 5 yrs and off grid for nearly 20... Yeah, it's not always easy but better than 'civilisation'.
Great video, hope Andy gets into holiday inn
Excellent interview. Thank you.
These men are amazing.
‘People need people’
Homeless people are no less of a person than others.
i hope he gets into holiday inn...oh my...this breaks my heart
I think he may well have done, because I haven't seen him since that day, and it's been well over a month!
Great video. very thoughtfully presented.
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it
well played bro 🍀
I hope you gave him the money he needed to get that room for the night , what a lovely man he was , so humble ❤
Disgusting n the holiday inns have kicked all homeless out for the Afghanistan refugees it's absolutely disgusting
Nice interview ☕❤️
Brilliant video. Andy seems amazing. I've seen a few videos around homeless and you were by far the best at getting the message across without being patronising etc. I'd love to know how he's doing. I hope he got sorted. .
Thanks man. There's a chance Andy made it into housing, because I haven't seen him since this chat
Loved it
Get him tablet self publishing on amazon

Orang eropa kebanyakan tidak pernah tolong menolong terhadap sesama.mungkin rasa empatinya sudah hilang
subtitle perfect dude
Cheers man
as if u never chucked him a few pound ?
He should start drawing or painting on his spot the sell them.
Cant believe our homeless have to pay for a hotel there's immigrates coming over and getting free hotels and food, wen i was homeless i found it hard but u manage to pul threw but horrible getting looked at like we int human
Most homless people ara really used too being homless it becomes just like a way of life for them they get used to because they don't really have a choice in the matter specialy with all the migrants getting housed first it doesn't help the poblebly really doses it
Sounds like Andy could use a go fund me.
What do you think he does with the benefits he gets?
@@robertmclellan3658 Benefits, are not enough to get you off the streets. You can barely exist on Benefits.
@@orosedobheathaabhaile Nonsense, try working and not taking drugs and expecting everyone else to pay for your lifestyle.
@@robertmclellan3658 I have done just that, for my entire life. I can still empathise. Try it sometime.
